Lub it... so king without a RING.

but, wouldn't be suprised if they take it all in this *asterisk shortened season which I think favors them.

Do you guys think Oden will ever make a come back? Or follow Roy's footsteps in retiring at a young age.

Oden is a less durable Yao.
Roy screwed himself up coming back way too soon to play in the playoffs that one year. Never got back to normal again.

People knew about Roy's knees before he was drafted.

True. I just think that playing in the 2010 playoffs against the suns a week after meniscus surgery accelerated things. Then again, I'm not a doctor.

Either way it's sad to see him leave the game IMHO way too early. Trailblazers have some bad juju/karma

    Great videos on roy here.

WE WANT HUMP WE WANT HUMP

the crowd shouted that throughout the second half....presumably to get another chance to boo his ass

  27. 12-22-2011 03:41 PM #27
Yes, he was. "We want Humphries!" Classic.

    Two problems for the Knicks:

    1) Dwight Howard becomes a Net

    2) "Brooklyn" Nets

I think #1 is worse just because fans will flock to the Brooklyn Nets and become "die-hards" overnight, ONLY IF Dwight goes there.

Knicks are going to have to do something - big.

So, if they listen to Dwight's ideas like that more often, Dwight will stay?
I knew Bass was gonna blow up as soon as I heard about that trade.

Poor Orlando. I never really believed it to be such an undesirable city for stars.

    Pretty much.

I think Orlando is like a teaser. It's like Diet Los Angeles. Close but not the real thing.

im glad Shumpert's knee injury isnt any more serious. like Big M said, it looked a lot worse.
hopefully Toney can shore up his D or else the Knicks are gonna get killed by PG's all season.

  33. 12-27-2011 12:52 PM #33
I still hate the Maloofs, but go Kings! We'll see how they do on a back-to-back tonight. Hopefully that's something their youthfulness can edge opponents with this season.

    Fire d'antoni.

No D. Lousy jump shots, no dribble penetration, no pick and roll.
