Yeah, but where exactly are they going to go with the original trade lineup? Be stuck in that awkward limbo of being good enough to make the playoffs but no where near good enough to actually contend for the title? I say get Eric Gordan, keep the other guys as trade bait or use them as cheap role players, and keep a potentially top 5 draft pick in a pretty deep draft.

I like this deal better for NOH. Younger talent. More upside. Better financially... and the rich don't get richer

now they're in the awkward limbo of being a playoff team or a lottery team. after listening to more reports about the trade, it makes a lot more sense financially for NOH going forward.

as a laker fan, i'm not mad that the original CP3 trade fell through (i never liked the idea of trading 2 really good bigs for 1 all star PG), moreso that the trade details leaked and Odom then got butthurt and requested a trade.

    Rip Hamilton sign with Chicago.

    B. Davis got waived by the Cavs. Where do you guys think he will end up?? Hopefully not the Heats.

    Good signing for Chicago.

I don't see any of the teams under the cap rolling the dice on a Baron Davis who is out for 8-10 weeks. It doesn't make sense for the Knicks to sign him since they just signed Bibby so I guess that leaves the Heat and the Lakers. And we all know that Davis likes Los Angeles.

Jeff Green with a possible serious health issue. Hope everything is ok but he hasn't practiced at all this camp. Doc and Danny A. are very sneaky about this too. Little nervous since we paid him 9mil this year.

Yikes, I just read the article. The way they are dancing around it makes it sound like he has cancer or something.

"It's not fair for me to share Jeff's information right now."

That's the most worrying quote from Ainge right there.

It sounds a lot like what the UFC was saying when Brock Lesnar had Diverticulitis.

was hoping Crawford would come back to the Knicks but their offer was the lowest money wise.

Seems like everyone but the Lakers are making somewhat big moves this offseason. I was hoping that Crawford would end up signing with the Lakers to play behind Kobe.

Sounds like he was pretty excited about heading to Portland... I wonder if he wanted to get closer to home(Seattle)?

He would be a decent 6th man for the Lakers though, especially considering they just gave theirs away.

Do you guys think Oden will ever make a come back? Or follow Roy's footsteps in retiring at a young age.

Oden is a less durable Yao.
Roy screwed himself up coming back way too soon to play in the playoffs that one year. Never got back to normal again.

Jeff Green out this season with an aortic aneurism. Will need surgery.

Sucks, but better than cancer, imo

People knew about Roy's knees before he was drafted.

True. I just think that playing in the 2010 playoffs against the suns a week after meniscus surgery accelerated things. Then again, I'm not a doctor.

Either way it's sad to see him leave the game IMHO way too early. Trailblazers have some bad juju/karma

    Great videos on roy here.

Assuming his back heals up in one month instead of two, I have big doubts about Davis fitting in as the third option. He's better than Arenas, and the Knicks got him for a good price, but not if he's not healthy and screws up chemistry

Besides, I hope to see good things out of TD and Shumpert.
