I cant help but think that CP3/Griffin is going to be just like Payton/Kemp in the 90's. Which is going to be AWESOME!

Why would you ever do that?

Chuck Hayes had his contract rescinded by the Kings. Sounds fairly serious - some sort of heart issue the team found during a stress test for his physical.

Stockton couldn't dunk. So, I'm with you there.

I call Stockton the "White Collar Crime" with all those steals he had. Payton = the Glove...classic.

According to a recent poll Kris Humphries is the most hated player in the NBA. If the Lakers hadn't traded Odom they would have had 3 of the Top 10.

These people shouldn't hate him. They should hate themselves for following that trash. I wonder how many of these people who "voted" actually watch or follow basketball, and how many of them are just people with no lives who live vicariously through Kim Kardashian.

I'm probably just being a homer here, but why are Bosh and D-Wade on the list? And Tony Parker too?

Tony Parker is on it for the same reason as Odom and Humphries... Celebrity "tabloid" marriage. Bosh and D-Wade are on there just because they play on the same team as LeBron.

the crowd shouted that throughout the second half....presumably to get another chance to boo his ass

    22. 12-22-2011 03:41 PM #92
Yes, he was. "We want Humphries!" Classic.

      Two problems for the Knicks:

      1) Dwight Howard becomes a Net

      2) "Brooklyn" Nets

I think #1 is worse just because fans will flock to the Brooklyn Nets and become "die-hards" overnight, ONLY IF Dwight goes there.

Knicks are going to have to do something - big.

didnt Tony Parker have an affair with a teammates' wife? i dont think thats looked upon well by the rest of the league.

and i dont think the Nets going to Brooklyn are going to change the landscape of NY fans much. obviously people are gonna go there because it might be cheaper or more convenient, especially for LI fans but no one is gonna start rooting for them instead of the Knicks. especially since the Knicks figure to be better for the next couple of years.

I wonder if this injury gives the Lakers more leverage in a possible deal for Dwight Howard.

I was thinking more along the lines of not having to give up both Bynum and Gasol now.

IDK about that. Orlando seems perfectly content with keeping Howard for the rest of the season if the right deal doesn't pop up.

Ugly win but I'll take it.

Chandler didn't start today off the way I thought he would. This team goes to crap with Melo on the bench (resting/foul trouble).

^^^ seriously a great game. I didn't catch the beginning of the Heat-Mavs game because of it.

Awesome to see us have a fast start. Dallas just can't keep up with us.

Update... 2 - 4 weeks for Shumpert. Officially a sprain. MRI tomorrow to make sure.
I'll take it. Looked much wore the way he was carried off.

Very happy to get that win. Boston still tough.

Before Shumpert went down, the Knicks 2nd string looked alot better than the Celtics 2nd string.
