i called the place to book, i talked to what sounded like a 16yo kid who had NO clue what Oktoberfest was. the time i was on hold, i got online, booked my room and when he answered the phone again i said "thanks but in the time i waited i just did it online and got my car show discount"

Glad it worked out. Big Bear is well known for their Oktoberfest, "we" are just adding the love of the germans cars for the love of german/bavarian culture.

For those calling in, just make sure you mention the Oktoberfest Car, because they will be confused by just mentioning the word Oktoberfest.

Hey Fellas, the venue will have Samuel Adams Oktoberfest on tap outside in the lot during the car show. If anyone wants anything different, there is a full bar inside.

I got some great news.

The Host Hotel is also the Car Show venue.

That means you can party all day, all night while you look at cars and worrying you don't have to worry about driving anywhere.

We just got back from WaterWerks by the Bay and Crafted Fitment. Seems like NorCal folks are going to make the trip out. Also, Wheel Snobs and Volkwear might have something special for us for the event.

Even though the host hotel is booked, there are hotels walking distance away.

I know for a fact, Vintage Resort is almost full. There only have 30 rooms at that location and they where taking reservations the day after the event was over last year.

Also, Fireside Lodge is walking distance away. Serious, map it out on Google Maps. It's not that bad at all.

start asking people, they dont have to leave saturday with you. You just leave on saturday and spend a little less on the hotel

Just an FYI, we require everyone who comes to this years Oktoberfest to register for our event.

Each person needs to register, by registering, you will receive a wristband that will let us know you are part of our group. This same wristband will grant you access throughout Northwoods Resort, the parking lot area, and especially the ballroom area inside for both nights.

I hope this clears up any confusion when reading through the descriptions of the registration tickets.
