Okay so second winter this car is apart. Lets see what happens

Just going to give a quick list of mods/parts that were done over the build.
-BFI Stage 2 Motor mounts
-EuroImage 1' Motor Mount spacers ( Passenger side milled down so engine cover would clear hood and motor sit more evenly)
-Mk3 non abs Brake booster/master cylinder
-Custom brake Hardlines
-Russel Twist Lok 3/8 Fuel Lines
-3/8th custom made Fuel hardlines
-Mishimoto Full aluminum Radiator
-2 12'' Mishimoto slim fans
-Yellow Top Battery
-IDF rear camber plates
-New Hubs and wheel bearings in the rear
-Swoops Intake Pipe
-Driverside Raxle

-HeaterCore/AC
-Climatronic
-ABS Module/Braking system
-Auxillary radiator
-OEM Fans
-RainTray/Wipers

-Evap
-Secondary Air
-Cooling lines to TB

Finally finished up the bay after 5 months of almost everyday working on it. I Will say I learned alot from the whole experience, I went alot more indepth with the shave then I had originally planned, and I am glad that I did. I'd Like to give a hugeeee thanks out to the cornstatus crew who helped out a ton through this project.

Big thanks to Ken, Zach, Ross, Rob, Pat, Jason and everyone else that came and helped along the way. Theres no way this bay would be what it is today with out these people.

Another big thanks goes out to devin (you probably know him from the vortex), for all the info and help along the way.

Okay so here's Round 1 of the bay shave (winter 2011-2012)

Pg 1. Front end dissemble
Pg 2. Dash removal, Beginning wiring tuck
Pg 3. O2 sensor harness relocation
Pg 4. Drivers and Pass. Side Harness's ran/extended
Pg 5. Extended the Engine Harness, Began some body work
Pg 6. Finish all extending of Wires, Grounded/hooked up battery/Fired up!!
Pg 7. Motor pulled, abs module removed, subframe removed, engine and subframe cleaned
Pg 8. Timing chains/dropped oil pan/painted parts
Pg 9. Painted block/Reassembled motor/Cutout raintray/Stripping engine bay
Pg 10. Metal fab time
Pg 11. Firewall Removal, more welding and start of body work

Thanks everyone! Alright got some updates soo far, Started ripping everything apart the past 2 nights. Currently in the barn right now chipping away at wiring. Not sure if I want to shave the rain tray, and run the wipers for daily and then take them out for shows. Cause even though I have the mk3 I still want to daily this car, cause its a vw its meant to be driven! So all you garage queens need to grow up

Got the front clip off, fenders, wipers ect.


Did a phenomenal job of snapping top fill on the radiator trying to get the hose off haha looks like a nice new shiny radiator will be in the works





The girlfriend stopped by for a bit and helped....


Hopefully gonna decide what im doing tonight or tommarow about the tray so i can really start on the wiring!

On superstar dish wheels and raceland ultimo coils at 22 ftg daily'd this summer gonna hopefully be a little lower next season
