*drum roll please*.....
well alright just another solid day working on wiring and a few other things. Spend most of the morning getting the mk3 back on the road after putting a nice gash in the tank..thats what you get for driving a lowered mk3 across a dirt road.![]()
But anyhow, so today my main goal was to finish up extending the main engine harness, which was a huge pain in the ass. Sense there were so many purple wires for the injectors, I traced each wire of each harness back and forth to make sure i was cutting and splicing the right wires together. Longgg day of smelling the great smell of melting solder.
Here a crappy picture of the wires for the engine harness spliting. *obviously not going to be ran like that, nothings even loomed just like that temporaily.*
One side is going to run across the front of the engine to the passenger side then up along the upper frame rail into the cabin, right to the ECU. The other wires that go to the drivers side are going to be tucked under the tranny and ran up to where the connector is for them.
Chilled with ross all day, but rob showed up around 8 and chilled for a few hours always hooking me up with his mint ideas/knowlege. He got to work tonight and started shaving away at seam sealer and drilling out some of the spot welds holding different brackets on. I hate that part, so i let him stay occupied haha![]()
And the final product of today.
Sent out my ECU to gonzo yesterday, just gotta wait for it to return now. Next on my to-do list is to extend the MAF wires, and then ground everything that needs to be grounded. Then just ground the motor, and run a few more wires to the fuse block and ready to rip.
Night.

Looking great man, keep up the good work! I know how frustrating wiring and the like can be, but it looks great and just try to keep your end vision in mind![]()

Hell yeah man, its alot of work but im making a decent amount for a 19 year old. And for the bay nopeee its gonna stay orange, with some white accents and other ideas..which you'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks alot man, you got the patience/knowledge you just gotta apply it, trust me it looks like alot but when you break all of it down into small little projects its all pretty easy'ish haha
Wordddddd thanks homie, appreciate the turn around time on that, hopefully the beast fires up for me first try. My buddy was thinking about seeing what your thoughts were on tuning his ecu for a bt setup that he wants to run, but he already has apr flash for his ko4 he has now..he'll probably be hitting you up soon.
Im very lucky, i got everything i could need to do anything, just gotta apply my knowlege/learn more![]()

flat tires = lower FTG numbers.
I'm not doing a full shave...just major cleanup. I deleted so many things I decided to drop ALL of the related brackets, connectors, wiring, hoses, etc.
Keurig...because landfill.

By the time you finish this ill be able to build like 4 trucks.. my bay is actually pretty shaved now too, but my wheels take up the whole bay, and touch the hood when layed out.. MINT![]()
