I have one too many cars hanging around, and cash is short right now. So I'm thinking of letting this one go. I got it about 5 years ago as a project and have been working on it here and there as I could afford it. As it's sitting right now the "new" motor and trans are dropped in but not hooked up. There are a TON of new parts, some installed already some not.

    Installed:
    1.8 JH motor
4K Transmission -both from an 84 Scirocco with about 80,000 miles
    Dual Downpipe (early style)
    Simple Catless exhaust (nothing fancy)
    All belts, hoses, most gaskets
New clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, resurfaced flywheel
    H4 Headlights
    Timing Belt
    Fuel Filter
    Shifter Bushing Full Kit
    Motor Mounts (HD Style)
    Air Filter
    Water Pump
    Fuel Sending Unit

    New Parts But Not Installed:
    Speedo, clutch and accel cables
    CV shafts
1.8L fuel distributor (much larger than 1.7)
    F pads and brake lines
    R shoes and brake lines
Valve cover and oil pan gaskets
    E-brake cables
    Alternator
    Heater core (used)

I've also still got the original FN transmission, I was eventually planning on using the 5th gear from it in the 4K.

Now onto the bad. The front fender was dented, I put a new one on and it's not quite lined up right. The heater core is shot, was bypassed but comes with a used one. The whole box and all actually. The pegs on the cluster are broken, and it doesnt fasten up correctly. This is the second cluster I've put in here, the fuel gauge isn't working but there is a new sender in it. But the big problem is really the top. It's in pretty bad shape, and we had record rainfall this year. The carpet got moldy, and it really needs the interior partially redone. Carpet and door panels at least.

These pics are a bit old now, I'll try to get some newer ones up.

I'm thinking around 1,000, but I'm always up for trades. Especailly for 74-79 Bus or 99 Passat Wagon goodies. I'll update this more, I'm sure i left a bunch out.
