Put the GPR damper on tonite took about 5 minutes, but it'll be good insurance just in case. I also broke out my better camera for a good pic of my airbrushed front cowl. I'm debating having the front fender done too, but don't want it to be too much. The guy my cousin used to paint the bike did a great job even using matte clear on the airbrushed parts to keep in theme with the rest of the bike.
Today's project was to put on my new cp foot controls with a splash of anodized green
Also put on my leathers for a decent ride
I mean this with sincerity and not in any way a jab at you. If you're planning on riding that on the street, well, riding it at all, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and replace all the sharp bits with blunt footpegs and hand controls. I've seen HORRIBLE things from sharp levers. I can easily imagine putting that footpeg into your calf... yikes. Other than that, fun bike!
I'm always careful guys & I do appreciate the concern. This bike is more of a theme bike & one day a show bike. I was just at TOCC( tricked out custom cycles) near my house. They built all of ricky gadson's bikes & a ton of feature bikes so I'm having my bike turbo'd, with a wide tire kit/pm wheels & single swingarm & she'll be slammed. Gonna take me a year or so to get all the loot needed so I'll enjoy her as is for now. She'll then be more of a weekend drag bike & something to take out to local events.
I'm planning on investing in the bmw S1000RR or maybe even a F3 in a year or so to have a real sportbike to ride. I love my 14, but she doesn't like the twisties

Just got her back today from round one of my winter mods. She made 189whp on the dyno, but I hope to make more with the custom tune. She's on a basic dynojet program now, but running much better & zero pooping from the voo doo. Big difference with the sprockets, bmc filter, flies removed & the PC5 etc... Didn't get on it too much with the cold roads & new tires.
Next up is 2" lowering front/rear, mps shifter install & then have it custom mapped. Just ordered my kill box & I'm excited for the spring.

I was going to mention the reason for the ball on the end of the brake and clutch lever...
If the ZX14 uses the same footpegs as a ZX10, I have a set with very low miles. I installed a set of KX450 footpegs on my bike...
I test rode the BMW RR in Sweden July/2010, and it was a nice bike, but I wouldn't get one for that kind of money.
The autoclutch failed on me 3 times, I switched to normal clutch riding, without any rideability issues.
The heat vent on the left side of the frame, burned me by my left knee...
Aside from those issues, it handled great, but my '06 ZX10 feels lighter and stronger.

I'm sure this bike isn't everyones taste, but I'm in the tattoo business p/t & it fits my personality. This bike is still great fun to ride & I get asked about it alot. It's becoming more of a theme type build especially after I do the wide tire/turbo, but after those parts go on she's gonna be more of a bike night/drag strip kinda bike. I want to pick up a new kawi for a more practical street bike.
I got a contour camera for Xmas and love it. Much better for the helmet than my go pro.
as far as doing the front fender, im not normally into this stuff on bikes, but i think some matching hands would be sick. something claw like, that look like they are either resting on the fender or grasping it would be neat. just my .02. bitchin 14

I have a brocks strap kit for the front too, but will prob only use it at the track. Waiting for a few parts yet on the mps shifter, but hope to have that done within the next 2-3 weeks then it's off for a custom map. Sorry for the iphone pic, but that's all I had on hand.
I'm already planning on getting into a new lower key ZX14R or S1000RR as a street bike. Cause this bike corners like a truck now & it's gonna be alot worse with a wider tire
