Put the GPR damper on tonite took about 5 minutes, but it'll be good insurance just in case. I also broke out my better camera for a good pic of my airbrushed front cowl. I'm debating having the front fender done too, but don't want it to be too much. The guy my cousin used to paint the bike did a great job even using matte clear on the airbrushed parts to keep in theme with the rest of the bike.

Thanks fella's it's weird if I had this bike new I'd prob never have it airbrushed, but since I bought it that way I'm just gonna roll with it. The only bad part is people talk my ear off about it whenever I stop for a drink etc... but I'll take it as a complimentIt's mostly harley guys too.
Today's project was to put on my new cp foot controls with a splash of anodized green

Also put on my leathers for a decent ride

I mean this with sincerity and not in any way a jab at you. If you're planning on riding that on the street, well, riding it at all, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and replace all the sharp bits with blunt footpegs and hand controls. I've seen HORRIBLE things from sharp levers. I can easily imagine putting that footpeg into your calf... yikes. Other than that, fun bike!

I've had a broken clutch lever go halfway into my quad muscle while riding dirt bikes, not fun.

Bike looks awesome though, nice airbrushing/painting on the front.

That it is. My neighbor has a harley & he confided in my he likes the way my bike sounds even more than his which I felt was a great compliment.

I'm always careful guys & I do appreciate the concern. This bike is more of a theme bike & one day a show bike. I was just at TOCC( tricked out custom cycles) near my house. They built all of ricky gadson's bikes & a ton of feature bikes so I'm having my bike turbo'd, with a wide tire kit/pm wheels & single swingarm & she'll be slammed. Gonna take me a year or so to get all the loot needed so I'll enjoy her as is for now. She'll then be more of a weekend drag bike & something to take out to local events.

I'm planning on investing in the bmw S1000RR or maybe even a F3 in a year or so to have a real sportbike to ride. I love my 14, but she doesn't like the twisties

didn't realize you were local until just now. Cool bike, but +1 to whoever said get rid of all the pointy bits if you plan to ride at all.

Just got her back today from round one of my winter mods. She made 189whp on the dyno, but I hope to make more with the custom tune. She's on a basic dynojet program now, but running much better & zero pooping from the voo doo. Big difference with the sprockets, bmc filter, flies removed & the PC5 etc... Didn't get on it too much with the cold roads & new tires.

Next up is 2" lowering front/rear, mps shifter install & then have it custom mapped. Just ordered my kill box & I'm excited for the spring.

I was going to mention the reason for the ball on the end of the brake and clutch lever...
If the ZX14 uses the same footpegs as a ZX10, I have a set with very low miles. I installed a set of KX450 footpegs on my bike...
I test rode the BMW RR in Sweden July/2010, and it was a nice bike, but I wouldn't get one for that kind of money.
The autoclutch failed on me 3 times, I switched to normal clutch riding, without any rideability issues.
The heat vent on the left side of the frame, burned me by my left knee...

Aside from those issues, it handled great, but my '06 ZX10 feels lighter and stronger.

I'm sure this bike isn't everyones taste, but I'm in the tattoo business p/t & it fits my personality. This bike is still great fun to ride & I get asked about it alot. It's becoming more of a theme type build especially after I do the wide tire/turbo, but after those parts go on she's gonna be more of a bike night/drag strip kinda bike. I want to pick up a new kawi for a more practical street bike.

Thanks, I'm not stretching it, but I am in the process of lowering it. She won't be slammed though it's only going down 2" so I can stop tip toeing.

I usually cruise around pretty slow, but if no one is around I like to open her up a bit. I came from 600cc bikes so the power is a rush. What's scary is she'll get up to max speed in a blink of an eye.
I got a contour camera for Xmas and love it. Much better for the helmet than my go pro.

as far as doing the front fender, im not normally into this stuff on bikes, but i think some matching hands would be sick. something claw like, that look like they are either resting on the fender or grasping it would be neat. just my .02. bitchin 14

Brocks links are on & the muzzy fan:

I have a brocks strap kit for the front too, but will prob only use it at the track. Waiting for a few parts yet on the mps shifter, but hope to have that done within the next 2-3 weeks then it's off for a custom map. Sorry for the iphone pic, but that's all I had on hand.

Haha, it's never enough This bike is becoming more of a theme bike. With the turbo I'm going to run a low boost stage 1 tune & it sounds like sex the way the exhaust/wastegate dump right out. She'll become more of a bike nite/strip kinda bike.

I'm already planning on getting into a new lower key ZX14R or S1000RR as a street bike. Cause this bike corners like a truck now & it's gonna be alot worse with a wider tire

Just had a pro photoshoot done more details later on. I just had my airshifter parts sent out to powdercoat finally. I had to wait for the perfect shade of green to be mixed up, but it's worth the wait to do it right. Also had to have some parts fabbed up.

Heading over to the local bike shop to finalize some new purchases brembo calipers, galfer rotors, new front lines, full led kit, stacks & a new dyno tune by fbf

Haven't updated this thread for so long cause I've been doing so much riding. I've abandonded the turbo/wide tire/swingarm idea. A few more performance, brake, cosmetic upgrades & I'm good. After I priced everything out it would have cost me the price of a new bike to get her boosted the right way & even though I work hard for everything I have it just seemed like pissing $ away. I just decided to try to hit 200whp all motor & I'll put on a 50 shot if I ever need a boost. She's still a blast to ride.

I don't trust my last dyno of 189whp. There have been some lower & higher #'s but this last slip was done in a reputable shop? I see the 185 as a base consistently on some bike day dyno's etc... I don't really plan to do internals, but I'm lucky to live close to a shop called fast by ferracci:
      http://www.ferracci.com/about/about.php
who is supposed to be one of the best east coast dyno tuners. When I get the full pipe on & the velocity stacks I'm going to have them dyno tune it. They said it'll be about 3-5 hours with the pcv. Then whatever slip they give me that's what I'll stand by.

Here's the up to date mod list:

It is awesome. I went to a event there on sat for the 1199 panigale & shut the city down sportbike ride. There was reps there from dynojet that said they believe ferracci may be their best dyno tuner & when they have a problem they usually call him. So, I said this is the guy to tune my bike.

The launch event was fully catered too they really put out a spread for everyone. I really believe a duc is my next bike. I just want to see how the vag buyout affects everything, but I could see a 848 evo in my future. I actually planned to buy a stealth before the deal from my cousin on my current bike.

My wife snapped a pic of me on sat. Took her out for some local riding with a few buddies. She's going in the shop on sat for some work & I won't have her for 2-3 weeks but it'll be well worth it.

Doing work. Just have to fab up some more pieces and the air shifter will be done then on to the brakes. Swingarm is on it's way too & a few other goodies. Met with a local speed shop to see if he'll help undertake bumping up my cc's

Took the bike out of the shop for the weekend to attend a local show with the wife in the cabby. Then took her back to the shop on monday. Hopefully everything will be done in two weeks, then I'll be good till the end of season.

I have no idea why you put stomp grips on that bike, especially with the other things you've done to it

I've used it on every bike I've owned over the last few years. It blends in well with my paint so u can hardly see it since both are black and just gives me a little extra control when I squeeze my knees etc... It also helps with preventing scratches.
