hahahaha, I've been trying to recruit this cat to social networking since MYSPACE
I think he may have built a FB page and checked it for a day or two lol. Cajun's aren't mainstream
I have however converted all the guys here at work to JOFFREY'S coffee from PublixWe brew that shiz on the regular in all the coffee pots in the building now.
Oh and to all the "It's sooooo depressing since WITW" replies.....I'm rigjht there with ya here in Florida. I catch myself on my commute to work on a motorcycle, leaning the bike as far as i can back and forth in my lane on my straight road to work lol

cool for you, not for me.
Louisiana roads are very bad. Our foundation actually sinks, weak and ever changing foundation. Huge potholes and several train tracks. No camber plates for me.

LoL, get sum WATER!!
quick question, my shop installed the UM mounts but I gotta make sure of installation.
On the PSS9 coilover it has the metal cap. Above the metal cap is the following:
a strut bearing
a top nut which sits over the bearing
the UM mount
the strut top hat or top cap
the top hat nut
WHAT ORDER DOES IT GO?
Coilover, bearing, UM mount, nut, top hat, top hat nut...
or Coilover, bearing, nut, UM mount, top hat, top hat nut...
or maybe Coilover, UM mount, bearing, bearing nut, top hat, top hat nut...
Looks like my setup has the coilover, then the bearing, then the bearing nut, then the UM mount (which sits freely on the bearing?), then it was installed on the car, then the top hat was placed on, then the top hat nut was secured.
Little info, please. I'm sure search has the answer and I'm sure Bilstein has the answer but I've seen this set up 3 different ways. Plus we did those ST's on the Audi. The old audi suspension had the bearing and bearing nut above the upper strut bushing. Looks like the bearing and nut held the bushing in place. The install guide kinda looks different.
Once the top hat is off should you have access to the bearing nut? While the suspension is still on the car can you tighten that bearing NUT?

Coilover, bearing, UM mount, nut, top hat, top hat nut. At least thats how I have done all my intstalls. How it comes off is how it should go back on. I look at it this way, I want the bearing and mount secured by the nut as one peice under the strut tower and the top hat and nut holding it in from the top![]()

There were a few Rossions passing through before we got there. They're in the highlights.
Rajun.. Lonestar is right. It's bearing, strut mount then bearing.. Adding this to my long list of improper suspension installs..

thanks for the input, gonna try to fix this either tonight or tomorrow.
Heading to Louisiana on Saturday. Not sure if the UM bushings got damaged
I got OEM bushings and OEM bearings on standby.
Thanks again, vortexers.

Bagged Lambo's with Foreign plates are cool.
Those wheels are throw back HRE's. Get there.
Or you could one UP them with a set of ADV.1's, straight baller wheels.

After trying day by day to recreate the experience of driving on the Dragon I have come to two conclusions!
1: Nothing will stack up to the dragon or people at Wookies
2: I need to return to the Dragon and drive for a day or two!
Who's in for a day or two that lives close by?
