Just finished the PRT for the Navy, SPRING 2012.
Gonna work on the car this weekend, need to clean her too. Next weekend is a long holiday weekend and I plan on visiting Louisiana.
So I want the car ready to roll.
Really missing those twist and turns at DEAL's GAP. Love that place.Beautiful scenery and awesome roads. Wish I could be there NOW. We really had a great time at WITW. Perfect vacation with friends and cars. Brittney had a great time. She listens very well and I can tell she loves to travel with me around the country. Very good dog, I'm lucky to have her.
Hope everyone is doing well. Continue moving forward with your car. Low and slow or track monster, either way stay focus on what you want. If any of you guys are visiting Texas make sure you hit me up. We got a few dubbers in the DFW area and a very few R32 owners. Take care, have fun, drive safe and I hope to see ya'll soon. Real Soon!

[QUOTE=rajuncajun37;77423430]1 mile run in South Texas in October. We did 138 mph last year. Work is planned for the car so 140 mph should happen. Really hoping to see 150 mph.
Anyone interested?
You might want to look into the "No Lift Shift" from UM, on a turbo car Jeff said it would pick up .5 of a second in the 1/4 mile, should help out a bit running a mile in your N/A car![]()

I have installed most of the popular bolt-on mods for a 2008 R32, minus suspension work. I know a lot about electronics and car audio, and have experience with VCDS ("vagcom"). I'm a radar/lidar countermeasure enthusiast. I like track days, autocross, and US Highway 129. I love aural pleasure.

Anyone interested in a removeable lightbar solution for next year? Considering developing a kit. Will likely offer an LED version and a halogen variation of some kind.

so what would something like that cost. Im assuming you would include a way to wire it in? I don't even know what is out there now for similar pricing. guess ill look some kits on other cars up to get a better idea. Im almost willing to make something I can personally bolt to the rebar (under the bumper with a quick disconnect type mount, same with the connectors.
Would be something like a reverse trailer mount haha with a plug in on the front. That would actually be kinda cool, IMO
#5599
Yeah. Wouldn't be a kit if it wasn't inclusive of everything you need. ;-) Keep in mind, I own PerformanceLEDs...so these kits are backed by our quality and customer service...and quality is where it counts.
I have a few ideas I am working with...you're welcome to do your own though. I love a good DIY project. These kits will be for those who want something to toss on when they want it and take off just as easily. I won't know what the cost might be until I get with some companies with regards to fabrication and hardware once I get an idea of construction/design and a hundred other details.
I guess the real question might be what might be a valid price point? Obviously, cheaper price is better...but it comes with the added cost of suffering in either ingenuity/design/quality when corners are cut...which can be done and still end up with a okay product...but then it may not be up to our strict standards of quality.
