Very cool pics. Love the night shot.

Talked to a few cops on the subject of aggressive drivers. They said for me just to let them be. The cops said "Don't try to Police the Highways, THAT's Our Job." They won't write tickets unless they witness the crime. They advised us to leave aggressive drivers alone. I decided that I will drive to my needs. Anyone faster than me has the right-of-way and I don't get mad if I get passed. I drive to my needs and it's been 9 years since I had a ticket. I'm aggressive, not wreckless.

Agreed I like to drive fast sometimes, but not stupidly.

I get so mad when i see idiots being wreckless and endandering me and others. That just causes more stupid laws to made, more crackdowns on driving, and it all reduces the freedom and fun for the rest of us.

      rajun,

Your rant was a little over the top.....
We are guests in an area we don't live in and *******s are everywhere.....
Getting pissed because you can't speed due to some local is certainly not the best response and pissing off the locals is never a good idea.

You should have pulled over, cooled off and then resumed your run

Many people are carrying in their car and it doesn't take much to cause an idiot to snap.

I love you to death, but you were wrong and I'm sure you see why it isn't worth it to let them get to you, you coud end up with a road rage ticket instead of the self righteous bastard acting like a douche......

Cool down and live longer, we want you around forever my friend.........

Still depressed last Friday so decided to have a few too many with my wife, since I tried to be a good boy at the Dragon. So, that did not work out as I paid for it all day long yesterday.... body is recovering, but mental state still missed WITW.

rajun, flash to pass does piss off some people, because they are inconsiderate, selfish, rude, obnoxious, **********s..... so maybe you weren't over the top, just negligent.... as shotgun seat it's your job to show them #1 finger........

installed a set of ST coilovers on friend's Audi TT 225hp this weekend. Dude has them powerflex bushings in the lower control arm. Very nice setup, looking to have the car aligned and corner balanced at TEXAS TRACK WORKS. Very excited about his car. Working towards a stage 2 setup with intake, exhaust, front mount intercooler and some new software. Guy plans on doing WITW next year.

      TOO SOON?
Too soon you say? WITW 2013 preparations thread? Coming soon.....

Jesse found me a new head with 100 miles. Looking to take her apart and get the thing cleaned and polished, looking for better flow. Also want CAMs, also would like them new double springs for my head. Probably cost like $2,000 to get this head built. Once she's done I'll turn to JEFF for a tune that does the following:

      8,200 rpm red line
File for intake, CAM's and exhaust
      File for 93 octane fuel
      SAI delete
      Launch control
and REV matching for down shifts

Hoping to see 280 hp at the wheels.

Gotta fix my Haldex 1st. Got two on stand by but a BLUE one may be in order. Once fixed I'll be satisfied with my drive-train, suspension and brakes. Very excited about the direction of this car. To all you guys who are new to the community I recommend driving the car for a while and reading a lot. At first I wanted a good looking STANCED R32. I do have a set of staggered fat wheels that look great. I get plenty of attention on my heavy split wheels but they do NOT handle well. After a few years I learned what a joy this car is to drive. My direction went from hard parked to hard driven. Love the DRAGON runs, love my daily commute as well. Wanna do auto-x and track days. With light wheels and aggressive tires the car is amazing.

Still dig the car shows but can't turn many heads with an 8 year old GOLF. I get tired of cleaning the thing every weekend any way. Now she's gets cleaned when dirty and turns heads cause I'm passing them. The exhaust alone draws attention on the road. Loud pipes save lives!

Drive the car and get involved, fine your direction and work towards it. We not rich so forget about a Track Ready Show Car. If you think you have both stop raising the car for driving events. Stanced out drift cars ain't track cars. You want a track car? This is possible. Want a stanced car? That's possible too. Want a drift car? Sorry, no drift'n here. The suspension needed for stanced cars is different then track cars, BTW. You want a wicked daily driver?

I have not washed the TTS since Saturday morning before the sound off at Fontana Dam though it is really looking scrappy. Rain predicted all week and I leave for Denver Thursday afternoon so might continue being a dirtball. I did remove the stickers.
