I also keed about this. Everytime someone says they have something for sale, I say I have Denvers with good tread for straight trade...like every tool in the wheel classifieds. These Denvers don't exist.

12,000 miles in and the tires looked like I was running -4 degrees of camber.

Mind you, the car was bone stock.

Really. The 2 and 4 door MKV and VI use the same rack. People get confused because the MKV Jetta had a different rack but that doesn't matter to us.

The thing is, when a new car comes in, unless it is pulling, or the steering wheel is off center, an alignment is not done. VW will only pay for an alignment on a new car if there is an issue during the new car check. So, unless there is a noticable issue, or you have a lazy tech, nothing gets done.
