For those who don't know my car history.... My 335i hit a possum doing ~130mph on my way home from last years TOD. On top of the overheating issue that I had while at TOD, I walked away with a hefty repair bill spanning the higher end of 4 digets (plus it in and out of the shop for the better half of two months) and ended up selling the car. I then picked up an STi. Had that for 5 months and had it up to stage 2 when it spontaneously burst into flames and torched itself for no apparent reason (well okay the turbo blew but still no word on where the fire came from). After that and word that a second child was joining the clan, I opted to go soccer mom and picked up an outback (not really a TOD type car).

So for this event I wandered over to my family's garage and "borrowed" the 135i m-sport that was sitting there collecting dust. So once again, I'm back in the twin turbo club.

Thursday EARLY morning. Intend on getting to fontana village in the afternoon sometime.

We've pulled roadtrips before, this should be no different. Although we may have to stop more often for gas as his range is limited due to big turbo and e-85 conversion.

Have to check in with some of the other people coming up as well to try and nail down a departure time. But early Thursday morning is necessary imo.

here's what my car has:

Fresh pads and rotors, Hella E-codes, Bright a$$ bulbs, new fuel pump, new RED TOP battery, new alternator, light weight wheels, PSS9's and a tight 4-wheel alignment.

Here's what I want:
NEW tires
Fresh paint on hood and bumper
Fresh grills
Caliper rebuild kits

If my calipers get rebuilt and my tires are new I will strongly consider driving up there.

Thanks and I cant wait!! Im going to try and bring my little brother with me, he's a car nut just about as bad as I am, Im worse though lol. And since I will be new to the area, I gotta have someone tag along lol. I gotta wait till closer to time before I book a cabin/room because i have to make sure I have a job first.... Priorities is a must!!
