mine is not as nice as the green machine but i got it for cheap with a fender bender damage to the front bought most of the parts to put it back together just waiting to get home all that is left to buy is the round headlight conversion with the center fog lights aka grill and lights already have the new rad support
You're ok bigs....non interferance motor. Replace the tensioner set the timing and good to go. Setting timing is easy. Get the flywheel mark lined up with the arrow in the trans plug, the set the cam mark. There's a dimple on the backside of the cam gear....line that up with the front top edge of the valve cover. Then pop the distributer cap off and point the rotor at the edge of the block where it mounts to the trans and tighten the belt.
No problem. That's a rough timing set...you will still need to put a timing light on it and adjust the distributer housing to get it spot on.
Side note. I need to get up to PA to see my dad ASAP so I'm selling what I can for quick gas money.
