Things are a little different but strangely the same here in NY. I do however still own a Scirocco.

1st off, I went and got married:

    Butch was there..

Then I closed on the house exactly 1 week later!

Now the dust has cleared, it is time to get to work! I have many items to address on this here Scirocco and I aim to spend some of this winter doing it!

    But where to begin......

A coat of white paint and a few more flourecent tubes and that garage will be a worthy man-cave.
Scirocco inventory currently at 1% and holding.

Congratulation on the marriage and on the house.

p.s. Chop that post in the middle of your garage. That'll give you some more elbow room. You can thank me later.

Nope... won't make that mistake again bro.

There are a few major restoration thoughts pertaining to engine, tranny, and the body/paint that financially are laughable to attempt now. Most of you know I don't wrench really, but I've become quite the do-it-yourselfer with my new crib. I plan to replace or fix a few items:

    - pull interior and replace original carpet from red to black.
    - swap instrument cluster with 80 mph speedo to black one with 100 mph speedo.
    - replace tail lights and rear plate mount with a setup from a 75 model with out all of the silly trim.
    - install misc pieces I've collected throughout BOTH tenure ownerships of 1 single Scirocco named Butch.

Oh, and lastly.... (for now) since I'll be returning my employment with BMW on the 2nd for a commute that's 4 miles from home, I may sell my E46 coupe and buy a Caddy...

There WILL be a FFC for 2k12!
