Hey guys, I'm usually on Audizine but decided to make an account here a while back. My name is Josh, I'm 18 and the car is a casablanca white 1998 Audi A4 2.8 quattro 5 speed. The car was originally my dad's who bought it around 2005 but it ended up sitting for a while, so I was able to grab it.
Here's a pic from way back when:

At 90,000 had the timing belt and water pump done:

Later 20% tint was added, then neuspeed race springs and bilstein sport shocks along with a control arm kit from fcp groton. About a year later the car was mine
Then some kid hit my driver blinker light:

After that I went with some depo blinker lights, which didn't look too bad:

Here's the car next to my Mom's new A3 (The Jetta was her's but the transmission crapped out)

Then one day at work I bottomed out and my whole skid plate ripped right off, which gave me an excuse to buy this:

Later I upgraded to Depo E-codes and clear side markers:

And here's some of the interior:

And that basically leaves off where it is today. Future plans so far are changing the cam chain tensioner which is going on me. So that's going to get started as soon as I get all the parts by the end of next week. Then fog lights with grilles, which I'm trading with someone. Later I'd like to see the car with ECS coilovers, spacers, a roof rack, S4 front bumper and side skirts and later a decent set of wheels. So there's the car, I plan on updating as much as possible on what I do with it also, but since I'm broke for the moment things will be going pretty slow.

Here's some pics of the car I've been fixing up since the summer, it's a 1968 Mercury Cougar Xr7.

The engine was ceased so I had to take the heads off and hone the cyldinders to get all that rust off.

This is how it sits today, still waiting to be started

That would be a yes. I feel like those are pointless. Im not sure if you have springs already, doesn't seem like it in your posts but the price of that ecs kit plus whatever you pay for the springs and struts your better off buying coilovers.

I already have bilsteins and nuespeed race springs. I'm just looking for a drop that'll tuck the tires just a bit. As long as I can get that these will hold me over until I get bags a while from now. But from what it says on the ecs page the rears can only drop 3/4" not much of a drop unless I can do something to get it lower

Eh, I would if I still had the stock suspension to put on while I make the sell and wait, but since I don't and this is my DD I would either have to wait to save up or go with ecs.

Yeah I think I might regret it if it doesn't go as low as I think it would.

PM me a price I may be interested if I don't get raped with the shipping price.

Anyone know how well st's handle? better than my set up now? I really like how well the car handles now. And if I were to sell mine how much would I get out of them?

very nice after the spacers. love the cinnamon interior.

For debadging, you can headgun, floss, goo gone, wash then wax.

Lms or turbo twists, both can't go wrong.

Looking forward to your next mods.

    Always love 2.8 exhaust note~

Hitting on that wont be too bad. Prob hitting your sway or just your exhaust.

I used to literally drag my car on roads like that. Just scraping constantly.

    You should be fine

Yeah I try to avoid it as much as possible ever since my flex pipes. I'm not sure if they were just old and brittle or the constant scraping took them out.

I like the silver better than the black on your white car...

youll get sick of the tinted look soon. im right there with you. i have my stock a4 grille painted black too..i always think about doing it to my s4 one.

im not a fan of the black wheels but the grille looks good on white, especially with your nice ass headlights lol

the black is just temporary until I can afford to refinish my wheels right. I think I might bring it back to silver in the summer or something I was thinking silver, gunmetal or black. And thanks Marc I kind of messed up on the grill and it ended up peeling a bit in different areas. But I agree I like how it looks with the white and my headlights

I had the same setup last year size wise anyway. Those tires look absolutely massive on 17x8. Can't wait to get some stretch next summer. Car looks nice

I think I've narrowed it down to two tires I want to get. It's either 205/45 or 215/45 but it's probably going to be whatever I can find for the best price. I'll be happy with either though
