yeah I hear ya. I really want to get a v1 but no way I can afford it lol, this will do the job though, anything is better than nothing.
well since my shift knob was pretty nasty looking (The black leather started turning green around where I usually grip it), I was telling my dad that I'd probably buy a new one, he then suggests I just use some shoe cleaner on it to make it look brand new again. Couldn't believe how well it worked.
used this stuff I got from walmart a long time ago:
And ended up doing the shift knob and boot, and it looks practically new. Everything is black now no more green one some parts and everything looks great:

. I'll have to see what they look like first ik one has bad curb rash. My dad has a paint sprayer at my grandpas so I'm thinking I might pick up some stock looking paint or one of those silver wheel paint from autozone or something and go over it with the spray gun. Either way I'm stoked to get them.
