      is that a test pipe?
      you need to use a spacer or nonfoulers and that o2 cel will go away.

      the test pipe does have a "02 extension" or j turn.. or w/e.

      faces were this color an i polished up the lips as best as condition would allow... little teaser of the lips

      repair marks.

      they were tore up and with out investing a more then the value in them i made the repairs... this is in between coats sanding.

      gold faces, polished/machined lip.


      finished all the painting today, and tomorrow iam gonna finish the lips, polishing them to as high of a shine as possible

      UPDATE:


      finally installed the FMIC last nite, its the evo motorsports kit. the original one.

      so install was simple, took a while... but i ran into a serious fitment issue with the pass side hard pipe from the core to the turbo (charge pipe?)

      either way.. the SAI pump was in the way. no matter what i tried it wouldnt fit. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,

      I removed the SAI pump and capped the line that goes to the back of the engine. at this point i guess iam gonna do an SAI delete. i hadnt planned or wanted to... but iam it seems.

      so after that, i finished the install and put in the turbosmart 60/40 hybrid bov.
      car runs fine. idles good, boosts solid. so far happy as hell.

      so my issues and questions go.....


      what do i do now for the sai issues ive created?

      is there a tune/software to write out that with out any other repairs or changes?

      so the car is still running like crap,

      i think iam gonna swap the bov (turbosmart) one out for a forge piece, see if there is any change.

      i just cant figure what else it could be.


      vacumed and cleaned the inside today
      added a "net" to the rear. (from my old R)


      - lost my drivers side bumper grill at some point.


      touched up some of the black lowers on the body of the car.

      moving along..

      cant wait for VAGfair

      oh,

      and removed the emblems/badges and have hella ****ing glue and residue i cant get off... so iam messing with that too

      I've got 205/40s on my wheels now and they're 8.5" decent stretch. I'm actually going to a 215/40 though. For the fronts I have no clue…really dumb of Mercedes to make them 7.5". When I ran those wheels I had 225/40s on all four. The rears looked good, but the front was obviously meaty.


      13mm spacer in the front. You could probably get away with a 20.


      This is the rear with a 10mm spacer. Frontracks have a wider wheel base in the back do to the rear beam though.

      so let me review, lol

      the first pics has a 205/40's on the rear? an you wanna go up to a 215/40, how come?


      also iam not on air or gonna be as low as you are, so do you think a 15mm for the rear and the 20 for the front is best? or should i drop down to a 10 for the rear and 15 for the front?

      now i dont want the front to look skinny and funny, so do you think that the 195/40's may be to small looking?

      last but not least,

      your fwd? is that what you mean by the front trak comment???

      No my current wheels (MAEs) I'm running 205/40s and going to a 215/40.


      The wheels pictured above (AMG wheels you have) have the 225/40s on all four corners.

      I would go with 205/40s in the front and 215/40s in the rear and as for spacers I'd run a 20mm in the front and maybe a 25mm in the rear or 20mm on all four corners.

      update



      I removed the turbosmart 60/40 recirc bov and installed the OEM Dv back,

      all the issues with rev drop are gone an the car is running strong and smooth.

      I also removed the hard line to the "combi" valve and make a block off plate for the valve. cold start is still a little weird til its out of fast idle, but it dosent act as funky as it was.

      mounting tires on the wheels today an maybe even coilovers on tonite.

      little bouncy, but i like them none the less.


      need longer wheel bolts to fit the wheels.... sux.


      car isnt that low yet, dont wanna "slam" it until the wheels are on.
