i have a set of the oem ones that come with them, painted gold. just thought they "were to much gold" lol
meh.. ill figure it out.
iam not putting anymore money into this set up at all, lol.
its gotta get raised cause i cant figure this vibration, if it goes away.. i guess it was an axle issue.
maybe next yr get a set of 18's staggered.
im gonna raise it 5 threads and see, i also found another road force balance machine with a "cone" insert that iam gonna "recheck" them again on.
we shall see... i mean, iam almost getting used to it. lol
but my daughter keeps asking why the car shakes so much... lol.
"daddy, why am i shaking???" ahahha
I got used to mine to haha…maybe its still there I just don't notice anymore I went through a buttload of axles before I put OEM ones back in. I do find if I floor it when I'm really low I get a slight vibration/thumping on the pass. side but I'm sure thats from being so low and the joints being at such a crazy angle.
yea the dude he bought it from made a custom bmw kidney grill as you see, it grows on you (as out of place as it is)
the hood and roof paint are shot, so its a work in progress.
he literally picked up on the way to the gtg... so, what ya see is what ya get.
gonna be fun little build iam sure when he gets going.
I have the same wheel setup and am looking at getting a set of tires that are more AWD friendly. Im currently rinning 225/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears. The rears are way to wide for the car and look overdone, but thats how they were set up when I got em, so I went with it. Don't get me wrong... haha. I kinda like the look. The diameters are only 2mm off, so thats good...
I will be buying new tires for the wheels set asap. What setups do you recommend? I'm thinking 225/45/17 on all four. We have terrible potholes up here in MN and this would mostly protect these wheels. Heres a pic or two of mine. Havent refinished them yet btw.

on the tires, i like my set up personally.
you have to be low to pull it off... the roads around here are ****ed up pretty good, so its frustrating that i keep ****ing killing **** all the time hitting my undercarriage.
picked up an LED kit for ALL the bulbs inside and the tag bulbs.
hope to install my "tuned" ecu in the next few days.
hope to stop the intermintent cel for the testpipe/02 and the sai bs too. lol
should i put my "race valve" in at the same time?
it acted funny on the stock ecu, this should be fine with him turning up the boost i think.
