This is me, playing around with some of my collection, I've been into drum and bass for about 10 years or so...

Don't get me wrong, I love all music... I grew up with punk, I still play guitar, bass, and I still have a drum set (although it's been downsized over the years)

any other DJ's or Musicians around?? Alfredo, I know you're going to find this thread......
i like to DJ and also play drums!

back in the mid 90s until about 2001 i was heavy into drum+bass/jungle 'scene'. i grew up in cambridge but spent almost every weekend in toronto at some sort of event or another. watched the parties go from 400-500 people at a crap location to 18000 people crammed in the better living center. i have pictures from back then somewhere at my parents place. i knew a lot of people back then and had 'access'. pics with the boys from source direct, photek[my favorite], dj hype. i even have one of stevie hyper d pretending to punch me in the throat. i told paul oakenfold to f*ck off once. a year later he was the highest paid dj in the world, $1mil for residency at cream in the UK. who cares hes a dick lol

i produced music back then but havent touched anything in 10 years. my stuff sounded like really dark, hard d+b but experimental-ish and kinda hiphop a bit, i guess. a lot of it was sample based and i used sequencers mostly as this was the early stages of pro tools and all that[read: software was mad expensive]

i'll see if i can locate a couple old tracks and i'll post them here for ya'll to laugh at.

yea i noticed it worked to lighten the atmosphere on other web forums. its easy to talk **** online but once you realize there is more behind the screen name, actual constructive discussion occurs.

know what sucks? when you have kids, everyone you know who has kids(even if you dont spend recreational time around them) thinks that you should 'have the kids exchange gifts' even tho in the past year they maybe spent three days around eachother. eff me now i have to go to toysrus and try to think about what your kid might like and what you might find acceptable as a gift. i decide to buy one of those wooden dino skeletons for your kid because its interesting and requires brain power and you can do it with them as a learning experience where you build something together and you buy my kid some some metal top with an anime ninja that destroys other japanese ninja tops. this toy is the equivalent of throwing rocks at a wall and shows me you couldn't give a damn about how i might be raising my kid and possibly how you are raising yours. 'its just a toy, it means nothing' --exactly, it means nothing... by your choice.

    i hate people.

    happy holidays!

LCBO Gift cards do work for everyone!

Friends: Gotta have someone to use yours with
Family: If you like them makes for a good party, if you don't... Makes for a good party!
    Kids: Gotta start somewhere right?
Pets: Would make a great YouTube video
Strangers and office people: Everyone appreciates booze
    Alians: .... WHY NOT!?!? haha

On a different note, Hotwheels has really stepped their aircooled game up, I now have added a Brazilia to my collection! Put it beside my orange SP2 and I just ordered my "Love The Ring" Sticker

I never said that it couldn't be done! I choose to remove manifolds when I change head gaskets, because I always send the head out for ultrasonic bath and resurfacing!

This pic was a few years ago.. My dog, thought it would be a good idea trying to catch fish in this river. Poor fool

Normally in the summer I love going places, But this year I had a metal shard in my eye... So that sucked!
