    short throw shifter?

    hello everyone, i just got a new 6 speed tiguan and i love but coming from my rabbit with a short throw, i really miss it . Does any one know of one beening made for the tigs? also can i just use one for a gti?

    we have the same trany as the gti right? so im guessing a gti shifter would work im just trying to see if any one has done it befor i pay for it.

    GTI will be slightly different but kinda the same. The bigger question is if the Tiguan shares the same shifter assembly as the GTI. VW is real great at sharing parts, but there is no guarantee unless someone has either tried it or you can confirm the same part numbers. Best would be to contact one of the suppliers and ask them.

    Hey Cheese,

    I scouted this when I was doing my clutch... From mark one eyeball it look like the OEM from audi S3 would work but after all the issues with my clutch I didn't want to deal with it so I never went for it.
