I wanted to consolidate the information from rawlmark's spreadsheet but a lot of those cars are missing info (style, color, options) so in the interest of keeping our database from having far too many ?'s on it I thought I'd wait.

Hopefully the other people on his list come here to post!

I started parsing the information from this thread and populating it into the spreadsheet I had but stopped due to the holidays combined with the amount of time it was taking me.

It obvious we've both spent a great deal of time compiling information. Your spreadsheet has the information from this thread, mine has the information from the "Track your R" thread. I reached out to you via IM to offer assistance in combining the 2 spreadsheets to benefit the VWV community by having all of the available information in 1 place.

I would love to have all of that information contained in one spot but most of the people in the tracking thread only post their commission numbers and not the colors and options.

Send me your Gmail e-mail if you have one and I will add you to the spreadsheet permissions so that you can edit mine as well. Maybe, hopefully, we can find out what kind of cars all of the other people on your list have.

Only problem is it is a registry of vehicles and not one person has received it. Right now the data seems suspect at best.

I'm having second thoughts about the R. I have a 2011 GTI Autobahn which is really all the car I need. I like the idea of increased power, but I rarely get on the 200 horses I currently have. I like the idea of awd, and I like the front end of the R. But I also like my DSG, and love the interior. I know, this is heresy on this forum but . . .

The decision is up to you but I find the R to be a much better all-around car than the GTI and it was the reason I decided to pull the trigger on an R whereas I only half-way considered a GTI before.

It also helps that I try to avoid FWD and automatic cars as much as possible.
