WTT: 2001 Golf 4dr 1.8t for VR6 mk3, 16v mk2....

I have a 2001 Golf 1.8t 4 door that I purchased about 4 month ago.

I rebuilt the 1.8t and put in integrated rods and ARP main studs and ARP head bolts. The head was also completely rebuilt.

Recently replaced the axles, fuel pump relay, fuel filter and ignition switch. Also has brand new Toyo Proxes 4 tires. Now running synthetic oil and is out of breakin. I have 8k on the rebuild. The chassis has 142k on it. I drive it 120 miles per day to and from work. Just drove it up here 725 miles. No issues. Tags good till Aug 2012.

I am only going to be in town (Vancouver, WA) until the 27th.





I am looking for a clean jetta or golf VR6
or
a clean mk2 with a 16v with cash on top.

I am trading because I moved to california and I can't do a big turbo down there like I had built the car to do. Thanks to the crappy california SMOG stuff.

So I am looking for a VR6 that I can put some cams and other goodies into. Let me know what you have. This needs to be a solid daily driver that does not have any emission issues.
