Hey all, hope you guys are having a great holiday season!!!

I've got an 05' 3.2 TT with DSG. I absolutely love this freakin tranny. Aside of the rattling in park at idle, and some other quirky little features.

What I would like to know is what 6-speed trans will work?
Is there anything crazy with programming the ECU? Swap?

I figure I can buy a nice flywheel and clutch. All stock hydraulics, and then figure out the pedal assembly. Does anyone know if it's a single pedal mounted on the firewall or a complete assembly with brake pedal?

I've done swaps in my mustangs, but this seems a bit more involved. I just think the car would be a ton of fun with the stick and it just drops one thing I'm worried about failing.

    Thanks

check out infiniteecho on the MkV R32, he did a 6 MT and a 3.6VR6 swap into his R32.

Said it was close to 10k to do the tranny swap if I remember right. The DSG harness goes everywhere.

From what most say, get a UM DSG tune and it takes care of 99% of the issues that DSG has

Sorry to ask, but what do you mean by saying: "UM DSG tune"?

UM, United Motorsports, and they make a DSG tune, which is a upgraded software for the DSG, kinda like an ECU tune

    Seems like a bump post.
You could always get the gearbox and pedal box from a manual 3.2 and do the conversion.
Unfortunately the States only got the DSG but in Europe we got both.
