Its actually not that bad, the only part you need I don't is the driveshaft. Everything else is pretty much the same and it'll be 10x easier for you to find an AWD trans then it was for me to find a FWD trans, I ended up buying one out of a Passat.

Finally built a skid plate. Sorry for the iPhone pics forgot my camera
Basic design on what my brothers said is .125 steel

Finished cut out and some paint

    Mounted

Runs from under front valance to flex connector, I am TIP and already fixed one leak. 22.5 GTF and a few rail road crossings later this is our solution. Already have a better plan to mount the front. Fits snug and has clearance on my tranny pan.

I dont think the thickness of your skid will be sufficient for the weight of the car and undercarriage impact, looks good though!

It's more than enough, it's right under a 1/4" thick steel plate, not like some out there that ate aluminum. Had to tighten my exhaust slip joint today and absolutely no dents lots of scrapes. Mind you I am not out trying to test it out but it does come in handy lol.

It scrapes on all of it, the opposite side I nearly have to go off the curb. Which has a bad popped up section of concrete that grabs my exhaust clamp.

Yea. its either the plastidip or the black strip and right now the plastidip is much more appealing to me lol. Every time i get a lead on a silver B5 locally its f*cked up front. I am looking at maybe doing the A8 rotor upgrade upfront anyone cons about doing that?

First project of the year down, did the sjp delet, vacuum delete and evap delete. Order the traitor for the evap. Most of the hoses where cracked. Next is getting a silicone tip and intercooler to throttlebody pipe.found that I need to refresh my crankcase breather and put a catch can in.

I need to do all of that as well. Anything emissions or vacuum related on my car is cracked broken or leaking. I'm not too savvy with that kind of stuff.

I got confused o few time following the DIY that on audizine. But the hardest part is cutting the damn clamps they use at the factory.

Was looking through some local classifieds and found Forge splitter for $50. Snatched it up quick has a small rub spot but it not like you can see the valve very well

And snug in its new home buried

Need a little help, I want to get the rear of my avant lower. My coils are spun all the way down. Not wanting to buy new set of coils but just springs that are shorter. Has anyone done this? Where can I buy them? As of right now I want to go down another 1/2-3/4 " to match the front.
