I believe he's running 26" slicks, that's what he had on last time I seen the car at the track

Thanks guys,I plan on bringing the car to an event or 2 in the states.

The engine has a custom cast iron cylinder head, cunningham H-beam rods and custom Diamond pistons. There is alot of bottom end reinforcment with the main bearing caps and a steel oil pan/girdle.The compression ratio is 14.5:1.The fuel injection pump is from a 4cyl cummins engine and is modified to pump out 230cc's of fuel through injectior nozzles that that have 5 holes @ .017".A gt4088 feeds a gt3571 to produce 90 psi boost. Both of the turbo's used have variable geometry turbine housings which enable us to spool up a bigger turbine's off the line while being able to flow well on at higher rpm.

The new plan is to put a gt4082 (thanks to sp_golf) on the manifold and feed it with a gt45.All depends on if it can be spooled up well enough to launch off the line.

There is more info and pics in of the engine in the link below.
    http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=315943

Clutch is spec twin disc and the o2a trans has a peloquin diff. With the 26" slicks we are running a 3.38 R&P.The transmission has vairous custom homemade braces and suports to help keep it together.Axles a stock V6 and seem to be holding up.

The homemade stuff is a pinion brace,A link that repalces 5th gear set that holds shafts together and a external brace to keep the pinion from flexing away from the ring. These parts are strictly homemade and I don't intend to make any for selling.

It a bosch "A" pump. They never came on any vw's so we had to make the mounting bracket.

If we manage to see a mild day soon I would like to love to try the new turbo out.

forgot to mention that we sucessfully spooled up the gta4082klnv.Depending on vane pisition we can make upto 70 psi boost with 65 psi exhaust manifold pressure. Can't wait to try and spool the gt45.Our road testing is done for good as the local pohpoh were out looking for a white car matching the description of mine

this is a MK2 TDI from Poland...

In 2010 I attended the Gecko Cup and there was another Golf TDI that ran high 9sec. if I remember that right. But he often had gear box damages...maybe I`ll find a video...

Yes the youtube car is the 5cyl TDI with AWD and compound turbos and nitrous. I'm not to far off with one less cylinder, FWD and no nitrous.

Not to sure about the 9sec car but I know that there is one car with 2 TDi engines and that could be the 9 sec one.It has done 10.4 so High 9's sounds possible.

The inj pump is from a 3.9L 4cyl cummins engine. The pump has been modified alot we had the pump's cam reground,Bigger pumping elements and we are likely removing the factory governor to make our own system.

I wasn't sure that anyone would care to ask
There were at least 4 different types of inj pumps on the 3.9 cummins.I have the "A" Pump, It is in between the VE and P-pump.It is an inline style pump and we have 10mm John deere Plungers.

Cool. I'm not familiar with the A pump. I know a little more about the Dodge 6BT stuff-- VE, P-Pump, VP44 and CP3 pumps. You need a billet sigma pump.
