Story goes, I bought out an old Super Vee racer guy of all of his spare wheel parts. These wheels started life as centerlocks. I took the centers and had a local race/fab shop TIG weld slugs into all but 4 of the centering pin holes. I then finish ground the welds and had another friend at a machine shop open the holes to fit standard 12mm ball seat lugs and match the 4x100 pattern. I also had the back mounting pads each milled 5mm to raise the offsets to a more "friendly FWD" offset. These now bolt on like stock, and the mods are invisible, but I want to be honest. Included are aluminum hubcentric sleeves that can be pressed into the centers to make them 57.1 CB.
I took the centers and media blasted them, then powder coated the faces with Eastwood Gold powdercoat and clearcoated them with Eastwood starlight metallic clear coat. In the shade they just look gold, but when they sunlight hits them they really pop. I then polished the lips back to their former luster and applied Eastwood Metal Protect to seal the finish. I assembled the wheels with new rubber O-rings, new stainless allen bolts and finish washers, and then resealed with high temp RTV. These leak no air and have been sitting on my project car for months with no loss in pressure.
The wheels (from memory) are 13x8 and 13x8.5 with offsets around 12 and 5. The only reason I am selling them is because they won't work with how low the car needs to be with the engine I put in the car. The rolling height even with air would look silly, so I think I want to step up to 15's or 16's. I am still a little attached to these.. but I don't have much choice.
Offers for trades would be 14-16" wheels of similar styling/rarity. I will NOT consider RS's, or OEM take-off wheels that I could find at any swap meet. Other interesting trades would be considered.
For pricing I would like $1500 obo for the set of 4. These wheels are quite rare to begin with, none the less fully restored.
