Can happily say I'll be making the trek to Cleveland tomorrow to pay the fine crew at HSTuning a visit to install my AWE K04, Southbend stage 2 enduro clutch, and S3 intercooler. Going with APR software, I know people warn against it, but has anyone actually had any real problems mixing K04 and software? Regardless, I can't wait to pick her up Saturday morning!

No problems...the only major design difference is dv location...using the apr kit is the same price(on sale) if you are going to use their software anyways...assuming you already have apr software

Never understand why people would go through the trouble to tear off the front of their car only to install the s3 intercooler instead of the APR FMIC... but I live somewhere that is actually hot, so I guess it is a different story for me.

Thanks for the response. Yes I already have APR. I got the K04 on sale from AWE over the summer and it's just more convenient to stick with them and go through HSTuning here. Looking forward to the results!

You can switch intercoolers in under 2 hours in a driveway. Thats what I did anyway, and the longest part was trying to get my car on a set of those drive up ramps... It's really not that big of a deal.

Because the APR fmic is almost 4 times the price of an OEM S3 fmic. And if you're only intending on going K04, it is plenty sufficient cooling almost no matter where you live. That being said, I'll be putting on my S3 one as soon as the UPS guy drops it off!

Got dyno'ed today. Pretty happy with the results given it was a mustang dyno that was pretty unforgiving to everyone.

    Results (Corrected):
    300.6 WHP @ 5661 RPM
    302.5 WTQ @ 4803 RPM

It was 94 the other day & I don't even have my K04 installed yet. After driving my GTI stg.2 for a short time, even I could feel the loss of power. APR inter cooler will be ordered next month. Only then will I install my K04.

This is very impressive. Close to AWE's record of 11.86, you must be a great driver! Props to you sir!
10% loss through the drivetrain is normal.

Ok question for everyone. How long did your stock clutch last because mine had 11k on it it's been 3 days and I feel it slip under hard boost in 3rd gear
