      Yes, alot of that has to do with the Downpipe (which I assume you have). The OEM pipe has a cat mounted 2 inches from the turbo outlet, which keeps things pretty quiet.

      i went from stage 2 to k04...so i am referring to purely based on the k04 over the IHI k03

      i swapped to the D valve at the same thing...that thing flutters like crazy...i wish there was a stronger spring for it

      I was actually wondering about that before reading the last post.

      With the K04 data should also include if using detector i.e. Valentine One

      no, it does not...there are other applications with their dynos posted in whp like the S4...but everything on their site about the mk6 gti is clearly in crank hp

      how is the forge twin intercooler with the s3 intercooler. Thinking about doing it but not too sure if it would be too much for the k04

      It was too much for the ko3, seems to be working great for the ko4.

      Spiking at 23psi and holding 20.

      It clearly say's "10% drivetrain loss added" right above the dyno chart. Take 366, multiply by .9 and you get the average 330whp that most are seeing.

      Wish there was a way to make my Ko4 spool faster, does not seem to spool up until past 4k rpms

      Really? Mine spools maybe 2-300 rpm over the stock turbo. Def can make full boost by 3k or under.

      Hey guys - I am at the point of going to a ko4. I'm pretty sure i have a full set of supporting mods (minus a new clutch).

      Just a quick question and if it will start a debate, forget i asked. I see the majority of people are running apr, specifically the v2 file that came out about 6 months ago. with great results. I see a couple people running GIAC software.

      Is anyone running Unitronic on their ko4? I am NOT asking which tune is better. I am just curious since i am running uni's stg 2 software and would go with them for their ko4 tune (only $100 to upgrade). Just looking to hear some feedback and see some numbers if anyone has them.

      I have heard great things about Uni.

      If you have their software already and love it then stick with it!

      I believe DSM1983 is running UNI stage 2+ with apr hardware....Unitronic is good stuff... you won't go wrong with them

      i got one...K04, S3 injectors, S3 intercooler, S3 DV, Autotech HPFP Upgrade, K/N CAI, 3" 42DD TBE...running United Motorsports Stage 2 file. My ECU is currently at UM to get flashed...I'll post update on how it is.
