Failure PR, 705 deadlift. Going on vacation which means a step backwards in training, so I wanted to get 705 lbs in my hands to know what it's like. I know I'm also much weaker training late at night and the PL crew trains late on Mondays. I didn't even expect it to leave the floor but it really didn't feel that bad, I think I'll hit it very soon. Still blows my mind. Not that long ago a 600 pull felt like it would be about what I'd have to settle for and now 700 is right there.

Is that normally where you lose your deadlifts?

Did a 1 rep max last night on bench press just to see what it was now. Hit 275, and I started working out for the first time since high school the last week of Feb 2012 where my max was 205. Feels good.

Progresses is awesome, no? I love that it's so easily quantifiable.

I did a few 60 yd overhead log carries, running, with a log I struggled to press 4 weeks ago. Also carried that stone for 15, then 45 yards. You know, the one I couldn't pick up last week. Feels Sogoodman!!

One thing I need to work harder one is back squat... which I hate. I do it weekly but not as hard or heavy as I should sometimes.

Junior year in high school I could squat 455x1 weighing 180-185 pounds. I don't believe I could do that now at 200 pounds.

Been quite awhile since I've been in here... my progress:

    Gained 30lbs!

Photos are from week 12 and week 36 (today). Due 10/22 with a girl. Can't wait to be able to twist and turn my body to reverse down my driveway again

    Just thought I'd share.

    Time for some kipping pullups.

Seen this in multiple videos on youtube... and while I know nothing about babies... it just doesn't look like the best thing to be doing.

Christ! I wish I had that kind of energy. Walking the dog is a lot of work. I guess if I didn't work 12hr days my routine would be different.

Thank you! I'm finally feeling my face fill out. It took awhile, but now I'm noticing. And my feet now swell every day. Thank goodness for compression stockings. I've had an extremely lucky pregnancy. Just dealt with a lot of exhaustion in the beginning, no morning sickness. I tried my hardest to keep up some exercise routine, even jogging with the dog, but that first tri and early second tri exhaustion killed me.

He sneaks into every picture! He's quite traumatized right now. His room was turned into the baby room, crate gone, all the furniture is different. He's kind of lost right now

    How's your baby?

Sumo pulled 355 3x3. Wanted 5 on the last set, but I came up just shy on the lockout on the first rep and then blasted my knee cap on the way down. excuses excuses excuses.

I'm hoping to be doing 405 for atleast a triple by the end of the year in sumo. 50lbs in ~12 weeks is a lot, but I think I got it.

The confidence and sexiness mainly. Pregnant woman carry themselves differently and who doesn't live a milf?

Obviously, with this being H+F, I am gearing my comments towards the ladies that take pride in themselves and their babies by taking care of themselves.

Hit 80 again for a triple, this time full snatches from the floor. Program calls for 93 on Saturday. Will be a PR for me if I make it (which if I keep pulling like this I should easily).

    100 is getting soooo close.

    93 for a triple or a single?

Randomly... I've been getting buried when I've been trying snatches at 100+. I think the problem is below 95 or so I'm almost powersnatching and not fully getting into the hole. I've actually been bringing overhead squats and drop snatches back in to see if they can help me stand up with the weight better.

It says 93x1. I assume if I hit it I'll go up. My best currently is 90.
