World of tanks

I've been playing a bit lately...it's not really grabbing me. I'm running a BT-2 on the Soviet side of things. It just seems that some games I'll knock out 4 tanks...and then nothing the next game. Doesn't make much sense. I definitely prefer the faster tanks over the heavier tanks.

This game really makes me yearn for a proper tank simulator.

i think its pretty good.Only thing that pisses me off is that i'll be against t59's which are from the 60's against my 1943 panzer.......They are suppose to add battles that group you properly by era!

Keep tiering up. I can do serious damage to 59's in my 3002DB 1v1 or even kill them if I have a bit of help. The higher you get, the harder it is for MM to screw you. I cant wait to unlock the Tiger tank tonight.

I got sucked up into a pirate MMO, so I haven't touched this in a while - and my buddies didn't dig it (my casual gaming group who's on nightly). I can't complain though, enjoyable for free.

One year anniversary this weekend. This game is getting lots of updates and new content. We got new American tanks last week, and there will be new soviet tanks coming out in about a month. I still play this pretty much every day.

Anyone who hasn't tried this game yet, should. The players for the most part are 1000x more mature than the CoD crowd, and the game is tons of fun.

Also, if you are on reddit, we have a gigantic reddit clan(~500 people). It's a mostly social clan where we can all platoon up, run games together, and have a good time.

I forgot I even had it on my PC...building a new PC this weekend, and I don't think I'll be adding it again. Slowly lost interest. It was not bad for a free game though. I just wanted a lot more sim and less arcade in a tank game.

A few Reddit WoT players are in the alpha, their initial impressions with it are "meh". It's only alpha though, so it's a long ways away from a finished product.

That being said, I'm 1000x more excited for World of Battleships.

Well, it looks great. I think it will eventually be a pretty good game. I don't have a joystick, so I use my wired 360 controller. Only problem is, the game has terrible gamepad support at the moment. So I haven't been able to play more than a couple games without getting tired of the controller not working right.

I'm sure they'll iron that out soon though, as there is a lot of people complaining about it.

No no no. Mouse and keyboard is the way to play WoT. I only use it in WoWP because flying an aircraft with mouse and keyboard it terrible.

The thing is that they basically release free DLC for the game every month or two. I threw down the cost of a normal game($60) and have 2 months of premium left.

By then I will have my E-100, Bat Chat, and Gw Type E... and wont need premium anymore. Once I have those, I won't mind the slow grind of a non-premium account.

If I really needed it, I wouldn't have any problem with spending another $40-$50 on this game with all the free content they constantly add to it.

It's pretty simple. You click the research tab to research parts(11)... Then you click the panel on the bottom to buy/equip those researched parts(19). Done.

Just got into this super-late (new computer to replace an ancient laptop) — so awesome. I'm junipermonkeys if anyone's still playing. The grind isn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be, given that the game is F2P, although I'm still working through it. That said, I'm pretty happy scouting with the T4 Panzer III now that I've dropped the biggest motor into it.
