A popular question on this forum is which exhaust people should get for their GTI. For some people, the search function isn't available for them () or they (including myself) are just lazy.

Anyways. Here is a list of different exhaust options for the GTI. Posted above the videos is the brand of exhaust. If one brand is shown, then that is the company's turbo-back exhaust.

PM me any videos that you would like me to add to this thread.
Also feel free to ask any questions regarding anything exhaust related here!

Here's the set-up on Dan's car. Then again, this was the "old"eurojet but it should be the same dimensions...

    Great thread

I will post mine up tomorrow!
Question, how did you post your videos in that format on here?

Also, to anyone who is complaining about their "4k limiter" and wish to rev it higher simply place it into gear and push the clutch all the way in.

Just post the video on Hulu, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Google, or facebook and click the "Insert Video" icon when you go to reply to this thread. Then paste the URL of the video into there and it'll do the code and everything for you.

If iirc, my mk5, you could just turn off ESP, and leave it in park or in neutral and the limiter would be off. Don't quite remember though.

has anyone thought of taking the exhaust from an Audi TTs and putting it on a GTI? Since the floorpan is the same, all of the mounting points are the same too. I like the twin tips of the TTs.

I was thinking of trying to do something different as well, my idea was the iconic Porsche muffler tips.

I want that exhaust on my R! Now, how to get it from Germany...that's the question. So far, I've only found them to do business there. Maybe if enough of us get our heads together on this, we can get these guys some business our way.

Okay. I'll see what I can do.

Based on very rudimentary research in some German forums, they do custom work only, and the made-to-order TBEs start at €1,800 (approx. $2,327).
