don't see why he'd be upset. he can text if he'd like, he has my number. I also don't see why you would need to speak for him.

I gave a great deal for a friend because thats how I am. I would much rather sell it to a friend for less and have them enjoy it. Then to hear about it being sold days after I sold it for more than what I sold it for is not cool. Im over it, lesson learned

I understand man but it's being sold for more to cover the shipping. I'm making back what I paid if it sells. I'll text you now though so we don't clutter this thread.

Going to keep the GHL until I rebuild my trunk. Figured when it's filled in more, there'll be less noise. Hopefully that reduces the amount of noise in the cabin.

i'm going to guess you're not running a spare right now, right? you prob have all your parts in that well? im sure once you put that back in, add a legit false floor, you'll be good. you could also dynamat the spare wheel well.

yeah, same thing i said. just dynamat gets expensive. doing the wheel well is probably sufficient, but might run you $100+

Not sure if this is thread worthy but here's a catted BB TBE starting up, no revs, just reversing for a few seconds.

Where should I order my silver tip round awe catback, I dont want to order from awe cause it takes a month just for them to build it and ship.

Any recommendations? Good customer service would be preferable

      Thanks!

      alright i need some protips:

how are you guys getting the exhaust hangers off the rubber mounts easily? screwdriver + lube? i couldnt get mine to slip out with just using my hands. or am i just being a huge girl?

the muffler section is heavy on both oem and aftermarket exhausts - i'm assuming for those, you have someone helping you lift it as you insert the hangers into place?

noob i know, though i've installed an exhaust on a different car before

Use various sized sockets to make the hole bigger () Start with a smaller one, then move up to the next size then to the next and so on until you've widened the hole. At least that's what I did. Oh and lots of lube, screwdrivers, and lots of patience.

You're not alone, I gave up on my CBE install after I could not get the last hangar out (spent a few hours with heat/lube/tools/etc.).. it was the one by the resonator.

Try the sockets trick. It works!! What also helps is the fact that we removed our hangers from the car, got the exhaust on, and then put the hangers back on. Made life a lot easier.

so you took the rubber pieces off of the black hangers (that are welded to the frame) ? when i was looking under the car, seems like it would be even harder to take them off that way

anyway, going to go back at it with some more penetrating oil and a screwdriver next time with help from a friend. hopefully should do the trick

I should rephrase that. The rear exhaust hangers were removed (the ones that hold the tips).
