    So u have to remove the cd changer to use it?
    Does the display work with the screen on the console?

    You have to remove the changer. The display works on the premium 7 radio not sure about other headunits. It does not show the track names but plays them in playlists by track numbers.

    Plugs directly into the CD changer harness. I'm not sure about other Ipods but it does charge my Ipod nano 3rd generation when plugged in.
