Have a 1980 Rabbit. Not really driving it much. Take it out for a spin every few weeks, but other wise is sitting there. Basically did the swap when was out of work, got a job right before finishing and am working too many hours to enjoy.
Have driven it less than 2K miles in last two years since swap was done.
1.8T ~65K. Timing belt, tensioner, water-pump, thermostat done at swap - have about 2K miles
Motor is stock, but this thing hauls ass as is. ECU is immo defeated, but not chipped.
O2J ~49K. New VR6 clutch at time of swap
Recaro Trophies in front, driver's bolster is ripped.
Dash from 85 rabbit convertible
Cluster from mkIII that shows ~112K. Have the mkIV cluster also.
Everything works. New carpet kit installed just before swap, new windshield installed just before swap. 195/50/15's in great condition, about 5K miles on them.
Front has 16v Scirocco brakes, have rear disk conversion, not installed. Rear sway, front upper and lower stress bars, custom made front brace/subframe to handle extra power. Race springs, front Boge inserts with 5K miles on them (these were great with old 16v, but feel a little soft with 1.8T)

Exhaust (I think its Borla, but not 100% sure)
Clean headliner, some extra parts.
Dash panel needs to be put in (where the radio and heater / fan controls mount) heater works, but side ducts not currently installed.
I put this together and TST did the wiring / inter-cooler mount.
I totaled my daily, so may be interested in some trades +/- cash.
