    X2

Ya why is the PNW supporting car shows in California? I was really looking forward to a show by the bay or coastal shore in Washington. Oh well for WaterWerks on the Green and I hope you do well with both events though.

We were approached by Fifteen52 and Tomas Sport Tuning about putting on a show. Everyone misses the New Dimensions show and want a show in NorCal again. People also want a destination show, a reason to drive all day with friends, hang out in the hotel parking lot, and party. If you never got to attend the ND show in the past, you should really check out this show.

I will not be going to this. I dont think California would like my coupe scraping into town and ripping out their road reflectors, turtles etc.

Nobody on the west coast really gets it. You have to travel to go to a show. And holding it at a great venue is even cooler.

Why do you think SOWO and H20 are so big? Because people from as far west as texas, as far north as NY and all in between drive to these shows, On a regular basis.

I hope the PNW supports this with a giant cruise.

SLAMMIN!!!! I would love to participate in this show. I will have to try and get work off and wifey's 'OK' Really impressed at how 'euro' Waterwerks is taking it this year. Every time you open a PVW you get show coverage at a grass field or a hanger of some sort. Very exciting!

i was just in san fran a few months ago around the same time as this event will take place and speaking from experience, if you want to see Alcatraz Island you'll need to schedule it at least two weeks in advance. event sounds like a good time.

should just make WaterWerks bigger and up here in the PNW. granted the name probably came from Water Wagens the name still had to originate from the PNW hence water since we have so much damned rain.

this would be cool to go to but doesnt cali have all sorts of exhuast las and such? if your from out of state can they still give you tickets to not meeting thier laws? i think that will really be the deciding factor.

WaterWerks was a show that existed before Waterwagens.

a friend and i drove from washington to englishtown NJ this last summer to be apart of Waterfest 17. we had a great time being there with our cars. the drive there was something i wanted to do for a long time. my mk3 did really good there and back.

the drive down to cali is a scenic drive. i did this drive 3 yrs ago. on the return trip i took 101 back up. the drive through the mountains is real fun. i think a convoy of euros for miles on I-5 would look really cool. don't know if i will be apart of it, but if i have the opportunity to attend i will.

9 months out - plenty of time to start planning and get ready. This particular venue is spectacular and definitely worth a drive.

Nub and I are really considering making the trek down for this. The venue looks amazing and the Bay is a ton of fun too.

I support fully what you guys are trying to do, expand the "scene" and give more opportunities for people all over to attend events like this. Plus, SF is pretty "central" for those coming from up north and those who want to come up from SoCal.

Already planning this one. Wanted to try and make it to a show this year that involves a decent road trip and may have found a winner. Think I've even talked the girlfriend into it.

The Days Inn is only a couple miles away from the venue. Not a bad price either. So far I'm planning on driving down Friday and coming back Monday. This will give me Saturday to sight see and be a tourist since neither my girlfriend or I have ever been to San Fran.

A few of our staff members will be hosting a drive from Seattle to San Francisco. I'm sure there will be a few cruises downs with different groups.

I would love to go to it this year but I'm not going to have the vacation time. The location and the drive would be fun. I guess you can only have a car show in California that people from all over will want to go to? Once again I hope it is supported and maybe next year I can go.
    Edit:
Maybe Water Werks on the Green will become the destination car show for everyone on the West Coast to go to.

I was making this trip 10-15 times a year for 3 years. Its a blast of a drive. It was about 600 miles for me so fuel wasnt to unreasonable. I always take I5 down, but I hear going through the redwood forest is also awesome as is the coast line down.
