HOLY **** BRONCOS OT TD PASS!![]()

I cant stand all of these individual team threads...
Anyway Lions got handled and the Texans showing up great against the Bengals..
I picked the Bengals and Saints to move forward.
Any other predictions?
9ERS vs Saints will be an amazing game. Hope Alex Smith is on his game.

After three home team routs, there was finally a game worth watching. The early whistle on the lateral-fumble almost cost Denver the game. As a Pats fan, I'm not sure whether I wanted a totally banged up Pittsburgh offense or the funky Denver option offense.
I'd also add that I don't get why the Steelers didn't sit The Rapist for the last two regular season games to let his ankle sprain heal. They were meaningless games.

^^ There were several unfortunate calls against the Broncos. In addition to the one you already mentioned, There was the last drive where Tebow clearly gets face-masked in the pocket and they ended up having to punt.
I am glad to see Tebow win his first playoff game. He may not be the NFL's greatest QB, but he has passion, drive and fight that is enjoyable to watch and be apart of.
Here is to seeing a 49ERS vs Broncos Super Bowl!![]()

I laugh at how many people are defending the Steelers, blaming their loss on injuries. Denver had injuries too, big deal! You can't say Tebow doesn't have talent when he throws for 316 yards, against the best defense in the league.....better than any other team this year, that not dumb luck, they just flat out played better.

Well you got me there i suppose......By no means am i saying Tebow is perfect, the fact remains that he does have a lot to work on, but for his first starting season, honestly, you can't ask for any more of the guy. I think above everything else, he is truly a leader. The way that he has helped pump the team up, and helped made them believe they can win is nothing short of amazing in my book.

but that's the difference... He doesn't need to be perfect, he just needs to win. It's hard for guys like Marino to swallow the numbers and look at the facts. He plays a different kind of football and that should be alright in this league, however it's not. I thank John Fox and the rest of the coaching staff for adopting huge chunks of the playbook to cater to his style - that takes true selflessness.
The fact is, he is the most scrutinized QB in the game and he shouldn't be. They compare him to Rogers and Brady, like he's been doing this for years. Blows my mind sometimes.
I know they will put up a good fight on Saturday - I just hope NE is ready.

Oh i agree with you completely. It may not look pretty sometimes, but he gets the job done and helps get them wins, and thats all that counts.
Really, i say give him a couple of years, and he will be a real good QB, I'll bet you next season we will see improvement out of him after he gets a chance to really work with the coaches more in depth over the off season. I really hope they can bring home a win against NE this time.

Anyone have the lines handy for the next round? I cant get at any of the sites from work. Curious about the Gmen/Pack line... Id bet the Giants are getting at least 8.5 on the road.

I'm very intrigued by the two NFC games this week. I honestly think with the way the Giants have been playing the last three weeks (the last three weeks are all that I've seen) that they can march into Lambeau Field and beat the Packers. And the Saints v. 49ers game is what I want to see in football: the electrifying offense v. the stout defense.

Thanks FBB...I hear rumblings that Giant line might move in a point or two before kick off. I guess the hard core gamblers arent drinkin the Tebow cool aid. The 14 scares me. I dont think I'd touch the Broncos. That line makes a 35-3 final look likely.

Pretty narrow predictions with margins. Interesting though.
I think NY/GB will be a shootout if neither turn the ball over and convert on 3rd down.
I want the 9ERS to move on but I think the Saints are going to be a tough test. And it ALL depends on how well Alex Smith is going to play in his first ever playoff game. Emotions will be present with the 9ERS..

Great Saints/49ers finish. That's one of the best last 5 minutes I can remember.

I was at work during both games but was able to check the scores using the ESPN ScoreCenter app on my iPhone. That 49ers game looked wild.
I took the 49ers and Patriots in todays games and I'm taking Houston and New York tomorrow. Let's hope I can go 4-0. I was 3-1 last week which ain't too bad.
