This really should be stickied. Very helpful and gives users a choice to many different brands and sound.

I see your point. Has anyone here had any problems with an Autotech exhaust?

True. Most people had no clue. Haha. But Dan Halen (global moderator) hasn't logged into Vortex since late November and he is the creator of the FAQ/DIY thread.

Well, even so, many people have had issues with the AWE Tuning catback for the Jetta 2.5. Still a superior brand, imo. The difference is that AWE follows through and honors their product. That being said, I have had no issues with my AWE Tuning catback.

The Eurocustoms sound clip I put up is a full exhaust, not just a catback. 3" downpipe and 2.5" catback.

Isn't APR's exhaust system make by billy boat performance? Rumor I heard. And if so, is it the same system sold by BBP, or is the RSC something made for APR only?

I have the eurojet exhaust on my rabbit 2.5 I found it to be too quiet with the muffler they include in the box. I took off muffler and ran straight pipe and it sounds pretty good.

I don't know about currently, but yes, the APR system was made by Billy Boat.

Unitronic Chipped 2.0T 3" downpipes have been added to the list. For now, the Unitronic downpipes are only available through CBtuning. As they release more of their hardware, they will be available on their site and I will update this list.

I don't see why not. Jetta = Jetta. Someone can correct me if I am wrong though.

Ok, Thanks! Do you know if the 2.5l sport exhaust is the same diameter as the 2.0t exhaust? I can't find anywhere if it's a 2.5" exhaust..

OEM Jetta 2.0T = 60 mm OD exhaust
OEM Jetta 2.5 = 60 mm OD exhaust
OEM Jetta 1.9/2.0 TDI = 55 mm OD exhaust

Once I fix my exhaust leak, I'll throw up a sound clip of my 2008 2.5L Jetta with OBX headers, catless to Techtonics dual borla cat-back.
