I can agree that most Revell kits are disapointing after building a tamya kit or two. Your cars look great, makes me feel like I need to start a thread posting some of mine, I just dont have a decent cameraKeep it up and Ill keep looking!

Thanks!!
It's been no updates for a while now, it's because snow melted and i have less time to spend on modelling, but it doesnt mean i stopped
There is a 996 gt3 in the works, it's almost done in fact, i have a few body parts to repaint because of some weird reaction the paint had. Rolling chassis and interior is done.![]()

Hey guys! Long time no updates!
I finally finished my Tamiya 996 GT3
It's not perfect nor my best, but i was anxious to finish it after a whole summer not touching it
Here it is:
And one more on the shelf:
Next one on operating table:
Tamiya 1/24 1985 Porsche 959

Oooo - wait 'till you build that sucker. Since you built the Fujimi 930 Turbo, you probably know what you're up against. That is a challenging kit, loads of fun and really nice when done, but boy, oh boy. It's a tough one.![]()
Here's mine at about 50%

^There's a reason Fujimi gives you those little stands to display the engine on if you want. They're brilliant!

Sadly i never got the 911R kit, an ebay messup and i bought the quattro instead.
On another note, the 959 is now done, not my best but still pretty nice, worst part is the window rubbers im not really proud of haha

Next on the operating table:
I'm kinda dissapointed, no engine to make, it's a really basic kit. I was expecting more but it'll be another porsche to my collection so no regrets hehe![]()

Progress on the 935
Only missing the stickers, they will be my next challenge to tackle
And here's a new one i bought yesterday

Wow that RS is stunning, is it a Fujimi?
Here's a little progress on the A4 DTM, it's almost 100% complete, all that's left are the side stickers, and the driver-side mirror that i lost somewhere in the garage
Next one on the operating table is the 993 GT2, and i bought this too:

So many cool builds in here, love the 935 and the Focus RS WRC
Next payday happily coincides with my birthday, so I sense an order of a Tamiya or Fujimi kit from HobbyLink Japan in my future![]()
They have the Internet on computers now?

That's awesome! How well does that kit build up? I keep pondering it, and am looking for a new winter project. Something that I can start on December 21 and finish on or before March 21, and the GT2 is one of like 3 kits I'm pondering...

It fits really well like most tamiya kits, but there is not much to assemble.
The engine is built in the chassis so its only a matter of painting it.
Interior is pretty good with a cage and a couple of facultative accessories.
There are like 4 different options for the rear spoiler.
Dont expect it to occupy you for a long time, i've done it in less than a week not touching it every day![]()

I started on the 1995 Volvo 850 BTCC
I believe it's going to be a quick one, body is painted and there isnt that much to assemble.
#62
Sheesh, you just keep churning these out!
Off to a good start on the Volvo.I think most of your time will be spent decaling lol
My current build keeps fvcking me over on the paint job lol...I've already stripped it once, and repaired too many flaws in the finish, both before and after clearcoating...but getting there.

I loved those 90's Tamiya touring car models. Most were just curbside kits (except for the DTM cars) but they make excellent display pieces.
Here are my Volvos:
And some more touring car goodness:

Wow man that's a killer collection, i'm jealous of all those cossies
The volvo is finally done, stickers were getting old and ripped all the time so it added a little challenge to the thing hehe
