235's not going to fit for tracking? Or 225's were mounted and ready to go?

      The latter.

Though with the current ride height and offset combo, there isn't much room to go wider. At least, not without a fender roll. There's talks of bringing the suspension up just a touch too for better suspension geometry for the track.

Is your "signature" ride height the max allowed by those coilovers? Just wondering what they'd look like if set to max height

We have about a ½"-¾" to come up out back, and about ¾"-1" to come up out front.

They're wrapped with 235/35-19 Falken FK452s and shown here without any wheel spacing. The "stance" is fairly aggressive and looks fantastic! Though I might suggest a 225/35-19 for those who plan to run a bit lower than this.

Can I use the Audi R8 wheels that you have on http://shop.achtuning.com and 235/35-19 tires without any fender rolling?

The factory version IMO is too aggressive, especially with a 235 tire. If it's the style you're after the most I'd suggest the Hartmann version that has more of a Golf R friendly offset.

H&R sent us a second set of coil-overs to test on the Golf R on Friday. After the first test n' tune session we felt we could use something a little stiffer and the H&R RSS Club Sport coil-over kit is designed for the committed motorsport enthusiast who is willing to relinquish some ride comfort in return for ultimate handling performance. After installation we threw the Golf R on our alignment rack for corner-balancing before heading to the Test N' Tune session on Saturday.

The stiffer suspension helped shave seconds off already good lap times so we are very pleased with the results, though we'd definitely not recommend the set-up for the typical street-driven car. We're communicating our feedback with H&R and there's talks of an Achtuning-exclusive coil-over kit that might offer a good balance for both street and track. Stay tuned...

i'd have to agree. i just threw the H&R premiums on last saturday morning (thanks, Achtuning!), and really like the ride. not too stiff, not to soft. actually more comfortable than the H&R cup kit i have on my MKV GTI.

If you have it, would you guy mind publishing the corner balancing data? It would be very enlightening to see the numbers.

When you lowered your car did you have issues with the level of the lights? Mine are really low and my dealer is telling me they can't fix it.

huh? the height of the headlights can be adjusted manually. there is a whitish screw behind the headlights that allow for up and down adjustment.
