Fellow dubbers,
please take your time and watch our short film.
My friend recently bought a WRX, so we did a short video for that. Its only 2 minutes.
Constructive criticism appreciated.
Cheers

Very coolMy only thoughts were that the parking garage scenes at the beginning were a bit dark (maybe it's my monitor), need to pump up the engine sound from 1:42 to 2:00

Love that the dribbling was synced with the music, especially at 1:53![]()
Needs a more aggressive final hoop or like a barrage of layups so you feel like you just got pwnt.

nice vid, but would be better with more engine noise.

very high quality work
constructive criticism: mixed it up with lots of different basketball shots, but too used too many direct front shots of the Rex

Because not extrovert hipster VW fanboy.
Great video. I have a few comments, should you be open to them:
- As others have said, a degree or two more engine/exhaust audio would add a bit more depth and engagement to the driving scenes
- A couple of the more open city street scenes while hanging out the window / holding the camera along the side of the car were a bit bland (ex. 1:22) - at least compared to the great colours and contrasts of the downtown scenes
Otherwise, good work. You have a good sense of matching audio to video and incorporating different 'storylines' without being distracting or overwhelming.![]()

I guess I have a different view of the world...I laughed nearly the entire time. If this video contained a Veyron driven by Michael Jordan in his prime or something, I could get on board.
It was similar to this:

Nice! Really enjoyed that. I agree with others who say "moar engine noise."
And only five seconds of credits. Some other vid makers that frequent this site could learn a thing or two.

Very well done. I liked the orchestra hits synced with the dribbling.
But yes, more engine noises needed.
#29
That was very good. Just more engine sound and a climactic dunk or something (I was fully expecting him to throw one down with the music)...
Great job!

Needs better balance. Set your feet shoulder width apart, square up with your right foot pointing at the rim, and land in the same footprints that you leap from. Think of yourself as shooting from within a phone booth.

Great work! Should have dunk/jump over the car for closing scene.
