Purchased the car about 3 weeks ago from a local guy that took little care of the car. It smelled like the dude hauled hay, engine bay was brown, and the interior was disgusting. The overall body of the car is in good shape. There are a few minor scratches here, and there but there's no dents. One of the mirrors was primed, replaced those with chrome mirror caps. My overall goal for the R32 is to keep it clean, and simple. It currently has 75K and is running strong! So far, I'm in love

well, I have a few ideas brewing in my head right now, just trying to figure out what I want to go with. I've got the chrome mirror caps on, cupra r seat lip will be here tomorrow. Ounce tax returns come in that will fund a good deal of money into the car. I've been looking at FK Streetline coilovers, and some wheels. Also trying to figure out if I wanna do the JOM smoked/red tails...![]()

Red Dupli-Color Metalcast paintI just taped off the area around the amber, layed down a few coats until it turned a good shade of red. Took the tape off, and layed a few more coats down of red over the whole light to blend the color of red. Stuff works great
Thanks!![]()

As some of you know, the .:R got punched in the face by a snow/ice ball about a week ago.
Went to VW to get a quote for insurance, came out to be around $1,700.00 for bumper/paint/other miscellaneous parts needed. The car should be going in for repairs as soon as they get all the parts in.
Since tax returns are coming in within the next week or so, I've been tossing around the idea to buy myself some goodies for the car. Coilovers is one of those things. Now, coming from being on air ride with my other car, I want to get something that rides good being at any height. But I'm kinda on a budget with this stuff as I have other things I need to spend my money on. I was looking at these, http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...ies/ES2142924/. I know they're on the cheaper side of the suspension products. But at this point I'm not really looking to spend a whole lot on suspension stuff. My main focus is that they'll ride good at any height I choose to adjust them too. Also, I've been looking at lower grille fogs.

Washed the car today. Decided to go and attack the muffler tips as they were black. Some elbow grease, and mother metal polish and they're back to being nice and shiny!
I've been looking into some different tips for the car. I was considering 3" polished turn down tops, but I have fallen in love with the double walled 42draft tips. Decisions... decisions![]()

Anybody have any good experiences with these coilovers? http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...vers/ES240604/ I'll be putting in a order for some coils as soon as I find some that will ride good, and go low. I've heard good things about FK's. Just trying to get some input before making the purchase!

i had fk konigsports .. a slight upgrade from those .. they rode great and went low enough in the front to the point where i couldnt drive ..

Same! I love the comfort of stock suspension, but I need some lows in my life! Especially coming from a bagged car, to this thing![]()

Car is in the shop getting a face lift. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week! I also bought wheels for it... The specs are 18x8/9 et 38 - after adapters et 18 all around. I'v been trying to figure out what tire set up I want to go with. I was thinking...
front - 205/40
rear - 215/40
Would that set up f*ck with the car. I know you have to stay in some % with the tire sizes when it comes to staggered set ups on our cars. Any incite would be appreciated![]()

Yes sir!I'll def look into those man
So a lil update... I got the adapters for the Mercedes wheels, and got them mounted today. The specs are 18x8 et18, 18x9 et 18. Unfortunately I ran into a little issue that I looked over. My plan was to run the tires I had on the Aristo's for the spring time, which are 225/40's. Ounce summer was to roll around I was going to purchase new tires. After getting the wheels mounted up, we dropped the car and the rear was sitting absolutely perfect! The front on the other hand was not to my liking. So I ordered 205/40's for the front. Ounce the new tires come in, I will roll my fenders and actually lower this pig
And the issue, mexi poke
Another shot...

Got the 205/40's mounted, and lowered the front to my liking. I'm going to take out the rear perches tomorrow to get the rear down a little big more.
As far as my review on the coils... They ride great for how low I am. I would definitely tell someone to purchase them if they're looking to buy coilovers under 1k.![]()

So ive grown bored of the Lorinser wheels... I was offered trades for audi RS6 wheels... the only downfall is that they are 19's. Anyone running 19's static, and actually pulling them off?
