Anticipated Cost of Tax/Title/Tag in Chicago Proper

I'm thinking this is the year I finally bite the bullet and purchase a car, and really like the 2012 GTI. I've got enough to purchase it outright, but with the 1.9% financing available, I'm thinking I might as well finance part of it.

Ideally I'd keep my payment <300 per month, but I'm struggling to figure out how much taxes, title, and tags are going to set me back in Chicago. On top of that, I read somewhere about a usage tax?

Are any posters residents of or do sales in the city of Chicago proper, who know for what amount/percentage each of these ancilary items will add on?

This might be a little late for you but in illinois your tax is based on your address. I live about two and a half hours south of chicago and my tax was 6.25% I paid no useage tax (not sure about chicago) $95 for title fee and $99 for tags.
