Have quite a few mods planned in the next few weeks so its time to start a build log.

I picked up the car with 24 miles on it from Berge Volkswagen in Gilbert, AZ. Buying process was pretty simple, we were in and out in an hour or so.

This is the car the day after I bought it, in her stock form:

My previous car was a 1999.5 Audi A4. I purchased it in October of 2003 and have no major issues with it in the last 8 years. It was getting up there in miles (135k) and probably needed a an overhaul soon (new control arms, new brakes, timing belt, turbo replacement) so I figure it would be time to upgrade.

I still have her and am undecided on keeping it, selling it, or parting it out.

Do you know if the seats will still able to lower after the trays are installed? Also what about the bluetooth module under the passanger seat? I was wanting the trays also, just wondering about these two things. Keep up the good work on the DIY's.

Finally some real mods showed up. I'll be doing a full write up on the install, as well as logging before and after to see what kind of improvements I see. I don't expect any HP gains, but I am hopeful the intake temps will decrease and the airflow is improved.

I'm very happy with the finish of the parts, they are clearly well made.

      Some photos I snapped:

      Hi MAtt -

Before you install the intake - make sure you do not need the secondary air filter.
If you do i think it's like 30 bucks. This filter is loud too when you start it up.

Also - there is a hose that pulls out and goes to nothing - it is a drain hose.

I attached a couple of pics of mine - i know how you like carbon - haha

      hope this helps,
      Rick
