Probably just the cars and tracks. Possibly the sport as a whole, and potentially its fans.

Top Gear is Monty Python on wheels. You shouldn't be taking either show seriously.

I don't take either (top gear or TCL) seriously, but I enjoy the show except for their anti-American sentiment... It just gets old...

Hammond has the segment and has always been a fan of NASCAR. I don't think he'll disrespect it too much.

i always hate how they add clips from clarkson's dvds to fill space: the brutus bit was in his most recent fall/holiday dvd. granted, it is an awesome machine.

    welcome to the layer cake

They pick on most other cultures. It's like playful teasing between friends. They typically use stereotypes and generalizations in a somewhat sarcastic manner.

Ever stay tuned long enough to hear them out? When they review a good American product - they say that it was fantastic, and had great fun. Yes they point out its shortcomings, every product has shortcomings. Thing is, they don't have to worry what the sponsors might think - since there aren't any.

I'm actually disappointed they don't bash Canada (or mention it). they make fun of many of their other commonwealth brethren... but not us.

That's because both Clarkson and May like Rush too much.

What exactly should they pick on?? Our beer? Our women? Our cars? Wait a sec - what cars??

The worst stereotype we've got to suffer is Bob and Doug Mackenzie, at least from what I've seen!

Besides - Peace, Order and good Gov't just doesn't present the opportunities like God, Guns and Mom's apple pie!

More wondering which race is was, or if its a ride along in over dramatic pre-race testing or whatever is done off air during the week.

Didn't look like the Nationwide series Top Gear 300, which i figured it at first. Wrong sponsors. No Office Depot car.

Funny we didn't hear much of it.

All they need to do is show up. The drunko fans in the stands and parking lots will eliminate the need for making anything up. Just go watch the FL to LA drive through the south.

It looks like its going to be better than that India crap (VERY good thing). Cannot wait for it to start.

I wonder how many more seasons they have in them. All of them are starting to look extremely old. Wonder when the age is going to catch up with them.
You think you hate it now. Wait til you drive it.

Hell, it wouldn't be any different if they showed up at an F1 race in Europe (sans Monaco), WRC event, DTM/WTCC/BTCC race, or the Nürburgring 24hr.

Race fans across North America and Europe tend to be one and the the same, despite the ignorance of TCL.

It should be named "Top Gear American Hate"

Sad how they mislead and make up stories to destroy almost anything American.

Watch it for comic relief not factual value.
