I 100% change my opinion on New Mexico, I figured out what the issue was - People travel through this place or just not from this area are the ones I met on the side of the road.

Everyone I have met in ABQ on the street and from the Internet have been so warm and welcoming. It is nice to see smiling faces attached to hugs and handshakes.

Currently at the most awesome restaurant on the planet ....Mc-dees . The special: Green Chili Double Cheeseburger

These are pics on route from ABQ to Santa Fe along 528 and I-25. Yep, I can cycle on the interstate. Honestly, way nicer then the B roads.... but less views- John suggest the climb up the B roads may have been to tough on my body.

Sorry that I did not turn the images.

Today has been a work of more miracles! Polo and I are in Las Vegas, NM. 100 miles from the most grueling part of getting out of NM- Raton. Barely any sleep last night. Made riding impossible today. I was Graced with meeting 2 Samaritans in Pecos, NM. I was out of gusto. They carried us to Las Vegas and dinner. Still trying to find a free spot to camp. Hoping to make it to Colorado Springs for the Jazz festival. Might be possible if i can get some freaking sleep. Oh and it is raining outside.

I said boot because I'm not military and don't know who says what. I heard boot. Like it better than basic... So I called it boot. 35n signals intelligence in the army. Same matt greene. But skinnier and stronger No Facebook

    Currently in Trinidad, Colorado.

Here are some pics from the last few days. We climbed the Raton Pass, and it was brutal to cycle darn near vertical for 8 miles. We passed 2 semis which slowed during the climb.

Depending on snow levels you should dip down from Bend OR and check out Crater Lake. I'll just leave these pics here.

and what the road to there looks like

Made it to Colorado Springs. Now we have to find a spot to lay low for the on coming weather. Boulder over 1000 miles away. got to button down for the day.

    in other news:
So when you cross the Pikes Peak Intl Raceway sign, everyone becomes a racecar driver. Colorado Springs must be the Subaru/Rally/S2000/Drift capitol of the world. I saw a huge dust cloud for miles today, then I finally get close to it and all I see is Subarus rallying with a few Mitsus thrown in. it was pretty cool. Then I get passed repeatedly on the interstate by multiple S2000's. Even an E36 that obviously is no longer running BMW drive train. Tons of Nissan 240s wide-body.

Yesterday, Colorado Springs to Boulder 102 miles. Stopped at house I saw a hotrod hanging out of garage, The guys came out and handed me a beer. We talked automotive chit for 2 hours. It was amazing to find out they were NASCAR Crew Chiefs. One guy was so impressed by my adventure he asked if he could do anything for me, did I want to rummage through his house or sleep with his daughter? LOL!
