How did you work around with the HID low/high beam? Any error? would you mind sharing the HID setup?

Could you guide this with more details please?

so, is your HID kit just a regular kit? Does it come with resistor or error canceller? how to modify vcds as you have mentioned? what equipment do I need and how to do the mod?

When I first got it. I loved the wheels when I saw it it's the only set I've seen around my area.

    Blacked tails

    Led drls

More to come. This car has so much potential to turn heads. Lower, projectors, darker tint.

Sold my mk4 1.8T GTI after 10 years from new
Almost bought a base Candy white GLI but took the more practical solution (in my case) and bought an SEL:

    Hey Jettsy,

how does your car ride now with your new GLI rims. Just wondering if you find it more harsh on the bumps. Also did you need to add any spacers when you installed the rims.

    thanks,

    thanks,
    nope no spacers needed.

Rides good. Anytime you go with low profile tires you lose a bit of comfort but they perform well on rainy days.

thanks, thinking about picking up a set. Did the 18's take away any wheel gap? Your ride looks great by the way.

Just 15mm adapters all around from Adaptec (but HR makes them too). Probably could've gone for 20mm up front.

    Final wheel specs are

    18x8 et37 215/35 Falken 512
    18x10 et50 225/40 Falken 512

    More pics from this weekend:

No reason really. I like them, but if someone else is really interested I'll let them go. I want to get something a little different, 3 piece a little different fitment. Maybe 9-9.5s run camber and get them to tuck in the wider with a little lower offset up front.

Honestly, I'll prob keep the twists unless the right offer/trade comes along

I just got my TR GLI autobahn w/nav 6-speed man 3 weeks ago.

In the process of adding a garage opener from carstyles4you. Also, about to purchase an apr ecu stage 2 flash and just talked to sales about a turbo back exhaust. They said it is coming soon.
