I was doing a routine rotor change and noticed some issues with the plastic of the hall effect sender.
2 visual problems with the sender:
1. The black wiring connection was cracked and not attached so I used some high temp adhesive to reattach it back to the body of the distributor.
2. The yellow plastic of the sender that covers the wires inside the distributor is not attached because of cracks.
Does this warrant a new sender?
The van runs fins and there are no CPS symptoms so when the adhesive drives I want to fire it up and run it.
Opinions?

I have no idea really but I guess this is one of those "if it works and still runs, great, but just know that down the road one day it may be on its way out".

I've been running this hall sender as is with no problems including some big trips to remote locals in NM. I'll keep running it but I'm carrying a spare distributor on road trips with a good used hall sender for back up.
