    evap cannister problem

    i own a mk4 r32 with a rotrex supercharger kit. i cant stop the evap canister from throwin the engine light on all the time is it possible to just write it out of the map completely??

    no it runs fine (although it could be in soft limp mode) iv tried everything with the cannister itself i think the boost air is confusing the ecu so it isnt getting the flow it expects and throws the engine light on. the evap canistor itself is an emmisions things and isnt needed.
    i need to stop the light coming on because
    a it may well put it into a mild limp mode for no reason and
    b i dont know if the engine light comes on for something serious

    Ive removed my evap system and its been written out of the software by Unitronic.

    What code exactly?

    The only moving parts that system consists of is; a purge solenoid, a vent solenoid, your gas cap.

    I'm sure it is an Easy fix. Your vehicle shouldn't act any differently with that light on.

    Basically saying I wouldn't send out an ecu and have the car down for such an easy fix.

    weve changed everything related to it but it still throws the engine light on the error code is incorrect flow
