Don't make it so ridiculously unsafe that it gets impounded.

Do not primer the car before you have purchased the paint if you plan to drive it before it is painted.. Or you will get contaminated primer, have to buff it off, and make it look like this:

lol... I broke the grill like 2 days into ownership when the latch froze up, had to keep the outers to retain the lights without mad rattle.

The grill is from a scrap yard, whatever keeps rocks out of the radiator I guess. (car is now parked for mods/restoration/building.... I dunno It has 1,000 directions and I need to pick one.

Don't build a car without a clue what you want it to be when its done.

Word... don't take it personal. I put my own in here... you have to have a sense of humor. Besides the mk1 forum is built for crotchety old men who pitch a bunch of ****... And why hasn't muffy or dethface posted yet?

Experimentation is fine, but this is just stupid, and poorly done. If you are going to do stupid, do it well. If you are going to do poorly done... just hire someone else.

If you find an ultra rare European body kit that has a bit of appeal, and some garbage in the mix..... maybe you should leave the grille off.
