Converting 2.8l vr6 to 3.2l vr6. Worth it?

I've got a 2001 gti vr6 with a dead engine. Would it be worth it convert the car to support the bigger engine and add awd? I've got the money and means but no experience with cars. What do you think?

You may be better to get a replacement 2.8 stroked as everything will just bolt on easy.

Oh just bore out the cylinders?

A rebore will give you some more capacity but stroking the engine is a different thing.
